That's great! Not too much content by Khmer-americans so I'm trying to fill that gap. I'm in the process of uploading videos from a recent trip so check out my newest videos if you haven't yet!
Nice video, the food looks very appart from there. Our intestines are these things not just hey. But I guess you're really after some time aangpast and a little looking out for certain things. you go next year again?
Anytime you go to a country where hygiene is not the best, you have to be careful about what you eat. Things like water, fresh fruit or vegetables and anything that is not cooked can make you sick. However, if you're crazy like me just eat it all knowing you'll get sick and eventually your body should build the resistance against it. And YES, I would like to go again next year!
$100,000 damn land is expensive now, I bought land many years ago for $1500 a hectre, those days are gone. Where my house is in Phnom Penh the land was $47/sqm, but the same land today I think is around $300/sqm. A lot of people in Phnom Penh and outside too have become multi-millionaires if they owned land 20 yrs ago. I've seen land go from $3/sqm to $3000/sqm. So, if you bought land 20 yrs ago, it was a good investment and land is still not too expensive in some areas, even close to Phnom Penh and other major cities. FYI
That’s true, people in Phnom Penh become million in a short time . 20 years ago a plot of land in the heart of Phnom Penh , people put for sale for 50,000$. Now its 1.5-2m. I didn’t buy at that time I had no money. I bought a land in the village because really want to sell it and no one interested. I paid 11000$, now it 90,000$. I wish I knew.. lolz oh well.. I wasn’t mean to be millionaires lolz
That’s crazy..the real estate ain’t worth that sort of money..it’s just been hyper inflated ..there’s not even any sewer system in place there or anywhere..let alone any building standards or regulations..it maybe a capital city but it’s infrastructure isn’t even in place..
@@donbrashsux prices have more than doubled since this video. My land in Phnom Penh is $800 per sqm now. But I've seen some deals around now since Covid-19. But still expensive.
Good video, but I do not see very much of your videos, but them out more often, please. Do you help out your relations there? You did not show to much of buying land. But good video just the same.
jmoo72 yes no Foreigner can own the land, if you have a spouse or relative who is Cambodian citizen he or she could buy it, but the title must be in their name.
Be very careful when buy land or property, my cousin land was stole by someone abuse their power, I always wanted to get a vacation property $150,000 after do some research heard horror story I'm not going to buy one

jmoo72 the land price is$100,000 USA dollars because nobody will sell their land $100,000 Khmer money which equal only $25 usd.
