It's very safe, just have to be careful of dogs, sometimes they are protective of their territory. I always carry a big stick with me, that usually scares them away.
Highly interesting. Do you mention how many square metre or feet the platform is? Is the electricity grounded? Does that amount of rebar and concrete fulfill earthquake requirements in other countries? It is indeed not cheap but then very things in the Kingdom of Wonder are. Bet it would cost 25-50% less in neighbouring countries but I could be wrong. Nicely done Bong!
There are no earthquakes in Cambodia. Having built a house in Cambodia and Thailand, I would say price to build is very similar. Only difference that in Thailand you might be able to find builders that take respect of their workmanship and thus quality MIGHT be slightly better. But to be honest, in both countries builders have no real respect of their profession and the quality is what it is.
@@pp-bf2ec OK. Thanks. Yes, I mentioned OTHER countries apart from Cambodia. Building the equivalent in the Philippines might require more rebar for example. Not only to protect it fron the earthquake itself but also to prevent it from being flushed away in the tsunami that everybody waits for.

Perhaps something up by the Thai border in the Krâvanh Mountains. Then clients can travel from there, get to both countries and be closer to the ocean as well. Cambodia is a great place for ecotourism right now as it is just opening up more and more. Hope to get back there in the next few years myself. Thanks again for a great channel. I really appreciate Sunny introducing you to all of us out here. His videos with you are some of my favorite! Thanks for you reply!
Wood makes this look super cozy ✌️👍
for the aesthetics i would add another stairs on the lower platform
Looks awesome Savy - so approx where are you ? Off National Rd 57 ? That area / direction ?? Phnum Sampov right ??
Yes, just north of Rd 57 across from the mountain. I can see it from my house.
Absolutely brilliant . I’m wanting to set up something similar with my Khmer fiancée as an artist camp .
Congratulations bong
beautiful home but use a lot of wood
Looking so good bro, I like this ផ្ទះចល័ត too. How’s the safety of living here in country side bro ?
Nice home but Iam getting old hard to climb the stairs . I bought condos in Phnom Penh on the 57 floors should be done in this November2024 instead for base camp in SE Asian. I just stay in hotels if visiting different areas or different countries .
I will in Battambang today and would love to see your new house if it is ok with you.
If you like to see the house you can contact me in email or telegram
Hey Mr.Savy You. I have My sister living in Phnom Sampov.
It looks fancy like in the movie , hope the house builder with dried wood, I had one less fancy 14 year ago in Battambon, 3 years ago the house almost falls apart ,I had to build the around from the ground to the beans to support the house and build a bathroom underneath the house , the time pass no body wants to sleep upper floor , we diged a small pool (10by10) near the house we had mango trees , bamboo trees ,….around the house ,still very hot day & night ,
Still way cheaper then USA. And. Canada. Love it❤❤
Maybe paint the pillars, Dark Red?
Love your channel thank ❤❤❤❤❤
amazing view of phnom samphov
Hi Savi, I’m travelling soon to Cambodia & would love to check out your place and review. Which city are you closest located to?
Hi there, the house is right outside of Battambang, just google search Phnom Sampov. You can email me with travel dates and itinerary if you're interested in visiting.
Nice style mate
Looks awesome. You can rent it out.
Very nice house , i live in koh kong
I used to go battambang all d time on my dream . But recently recently fell off a wave . so riding is on hold.
But i want to see your house.
How much a room ?
Amazing. Question. What are the benefits of having a wooden construct home compare to cemetery?
There's really only one benefit, the way it looks. It does stay a little cooler, but that doesn't matter if you've got AC.
Congratulations! If you don’t mind me asking, but how much was the land?
@@cchhen21 the land my mom purchased a while ago. I want to say around $15k but I’m not sure.
@@saviyou Nice. Congrats again. You can plant a really nice garden on that land.
