- In Today's video I forge a wheat sculpture using traditional techniques. There are a lot of different forge welds in this and it was great to get some practice in of these different techniques. I hope you like the video!

Отличный проект, Оскар!!! Только зёрна в пшеничном колосе растут наоборот;)
Good video, next time you do a forge weld use the ball pein as it’ll push most the slag out of the weld
👍
I find the ball pein very useful to get the seams in!
@@oscarduck1920 definitely! I learnt this from a blacksmith called Adrian legge if you’ve ever heard of him, great videos man I’ve subscribed 👌
I'm a new subscriber of your channel, those videos are amazing! Thank you very much for the opportunity to see such a good blacksmithing techiniques! Greetings from Brazil!
I’m glad you liked it!
Good to have you back safe and sound.
Lovely creation again. That's something I'd like to have a go at sometime soon. Gotta get my welding sorted first though.
Just one thought, shouldn't the grains be pointing upwards? Maybe they are on the other side.
Can't wait for the next installment.
(Finished the nails yet????)
Cheers. Richard.
Yes I never know which way to put the grains really. As for the nails I’m half way through. I’ve been doing them in batches every couple of weeks so I don’t get bored! Hoping to use a power hammer to help the next lot along.
👍👍🍻
Good to see you back Oscar! Don't you know video creators are not allowed to have a life other than creating videos? 😉😃 I'm kidding of course. Everyone deserves a holiday now and then. Gotta take care of those paying customers first and foremost as well. It would also be good to see a video once in awhile of your "production" methods.
Thanks for the idea Bob, I’ll be doing a lot of production stuff over the coming months for Christmas!
Work smarter not harder don’t imagine the old boys wouldn’t have used anything that would have made things easier and more profitable
I agree!
Dude, have you never seen wheat growing befor?? Wheat pods grow from the stem UPWARDS. Yours is upside down. What a goober.
