@@azadinowsure thing, music is one of the hardest things. I can defs add that into another vid.
Finding music before your shoot is a massive one I have learnt. It’s so nice going into the shoot knowing the sound you will have. Also you get home after that shoot knowing you don’t need to find a song, is wayyyy less stressful.
Everything is planning and preparation, this will help in sooo many way. We are all so used to the run and gun style of filmmaking which can be great and fun. But if we put some planning into place before, it will be a game changer for you 🫶🏼🤙🏽

I'm slowly recovering from a long depressive state and imposter syndrome. In this day and age of Tiktok and short reels, I've lost my focus on the why i do video. Lately, I've luckily stumbled upon your work and now this video, it has helped me reignite my passion in creating videos and just doing it out of love. Thank you man 🙏🏼 truly means so much in what you do and hope you know it inspires others like myself.
One thing that helped me lots recently is finding my 'why' really digging deep and figuring out why i got into filmmaking in the first place. I try to think back to that every time I start feeling lost. Also taking the time to create something for yourself in amongst client work is also super important to me and helps me reignite my passion. Thanks so much for following along, you got this, you really do!!!

I've been stuck on inspiration for video/photo for a couple of years now. The OG UA-camr filmmaker channels are basically dead. They still put out some cool videos every now and then, others have quit UA-cam, and a ton of new channels are just mimicking those OG channels. All of this to say that this video was the inspiration I needed. After 2 years I finally saw something unique, beautiful and tasteful. I needed this, so thank you Elliot for this video. I would love to more on the logistic side, how do you guys plan your travels, how the pre production works, how do you get the locals to work with you as talent in some of these shots ect...

Logistics is a big topic, so can defs talk about it in another video. But for now my tip would be it all comes down to planning. Really get to know you location before going there. Google everything, pintrest, instagram, youtube your location. Make moodboards and find contacts in the area to help you get what you are after. We have access to so much online and you can do alot of the heavy lifting before the shoot!!
