Epiphone’s Kramer are just nostalgia. They more like the super strat epiphones from the 80s/90s. If enough people buy those maybe we’ll get proper Kramers. I will give epiphone credit for making them affordable.
I have two 80's 'Made in Neptune' Kramers and one of them is the 87 Striker 300 (300ST). I recently showed it off in a video and someone told me that I 'Had a whole lot of nothing...', and it was '...mostly all junk'. This was deeply insulting to me as I have worked on guitars for several years now, have played for over thirty years, and although I don't focus on resale value or region, I do strive for quality instruments. My Kramer 300ST is essentially like new and plays great, is one of my favorite guitars, and was a worthwhile purchase in my opinion. That looks like quite a find you have there! 🎸
Could not agree more. My first guitar ever was a Kramer Pacer (post Epiphone acquisition). For 110$ brand new it was okay to start out with. But this one is leaps ahead. Very comfortable and with almost no mods - goes to show how they used to be made. Thanks for the comment and rock on!!!
Yeah, I've wanted a Pacer for a long time as it's the best looking style of guitar in my eyes and so the Striker was perfect for me. I'll likely get one of the newer, cheaper Kramers to use as a mod platform. I've heard they aren't that great but I like working on stuff to try and level up the quality. @@DumpsterDivingGuitars
Well, I know I want a Kramer Pacer Classic, but the Focus series that is very cheap and I've seen good and bad reviews for would be the one to mod and attempt to upgrade@@DumpsterDivingGuitars
Glammy rock ... Peavey the Best guitars around the world. Not Kramer. This guitar brand just only made body style coping some other brands. For U$ 400,00 the highest línea guitars in 1987 to 89. Sorry, rest is History. A special note, Charvel just only 1986 year, Made in Usa fine colector guitars , just 86'.
I have the exact same model and color. Thanks for the excellent content!
good for you! I"m sure you"re enjoying playing it. out of curiosity, is the bridge pickup in yours original? are there any markings? thanks!

if you go through with it, I'd be curious to know how it feels and looks.

Strikers were made in Korea. Great guitars for the price but not American made. That’s just what the neck plate says.
Very interesting, keep going 💯
this was quite educating! Keep it up, man!
Tengo exactamente el mismo modelo y el mismo color... fue mi primera guitarra y aun la conservo
Felicidades. Es una gran guitarra. Lo cambié por otro para el próximo episodio.
