Rocky those fish are deep right there. Thatvisbthebcut through at goat island upstream side. If tva isn't relasing a lot of water theybwont stack up there very good. If you go around the corner and head up stream there is a day marker about 175 yards above the "cave". Try those shad at the mouth of that cut at the day mark. From the looks of it tva wasn't releasing a lot of water in this video. Ibhave use threadfin but I do better with a 1/8th hand tie that I make. I have tied some for Richard so get him to give you some. I was the one who talked to you and Richard that day at ditto when you guys were live bait fishing. Ibwas the one in the white X19 Xrpress. If Richard doesn't give you any let me know I will tie you some up. I supply Richard with his gold and chartreuse hand ties. Great video. Bybthe way....I know your dad use to mount and paint all the fish at keastbhe did for me but I can I bring a smallmouth by and get you to repaint it. It has faded a little and I would like for you to paint that then line on each scale like you have on some of my other fish you have mounted for me. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Hey ol boy! Great video! You are gonna turn into a crappie man after all of you ain’t careful. Lol
I was just wondering, I watch Richard Gene , you, and another ol fella for crappie fishing. But my style of fishing is different than all of y’all. Today I caught over 80 crappie in 4 1/2 hrs by myself.
I fish docks with livescope and I use a 13ft Acc crappie stix and a 8ft Acc crappie stix both only with a weight, a hook and a minnow. I tight line in the “smallest “ gaps between boats and the dock. I don’t cast I just drop straight down and lip em out!
It’s VERY effective but I never see ANYONE else doing it. Have you ever tried it?
