This. Edge of the Earth was to their debut what Ride Ligthning was to Kill 'Em All - a huge step forward.

One of the beat metal albums ever for me, a metal masterpiece. Prob my favorite metal album of the decade along with of breathe and bone by be’lakor. The follow up to this album monolith was incredible too, EOTE and monolith my 2 fav albums from them forsure.

Caralho, 14 anos já. Na época que esse vídeo saiu achei tão incrível, que eu baixei o video para poder assistir quantas aulas zes quisesse. Não lembro q como chamava o programa, era um reprodutor de vídeo, ele baixava qualquer vídeo do UA-cam. Quando esse álbum sai fiquei fascinado, supriu todas as minhas expectativas, elevou sylosis para outro nível, muitoo superior ao primeiro álbum e até mesmo ao primeiro vocalista. Até hoje ouço esses caras quase diariamente e faço o possível para apresentar à todos que não conhecem, pois é até um pecado não conhecer haha

I was at the Liverpool leg of the Jagermeister tour last week and I spoke to Josh and he told me Feb 2011! He also told the whole crowd the same thing mid set....
@Nougat029 It's not though Eclipsed was in a different key to Earths Dust, after he plays the solo he's playing in the key of E. Eclipsed is in the key of B flat/A sharp. Plus the tempos are completely different (Eclipsed doesn't even have a section that quick except for the intro which then again contains no solo).
SO GOOD!....this is only few minute of some song but this album will kick ass!...i hope...and WE HOPE!....HAIL SYLOSIS! stay metal and don't be like jonas brother!

@29CrazyC29 saw them at sonisphere a couple weeks ago, can't say a bad word about that gig. it was excellent and josh really handled the vocals great even though he did no clean vocals and skipped some parts at a couple songs. can't fucking wait for the new album!!!

@Millenwagon It's "Earths Dust" he didn't play that part in the solo though but you can tell from the riff after it which I believe is harmonized or he solo's over.
@eleihtg It's an ESP MW-600 Micheal Wilton signature except it has been painted black. My best mate bought the from him, I've got two solos on my profile from when I was having a go on it =P incredibly nice guitar if I may say so myself...
@kannemuki fuck am i jealous of you!!! lucky !! haha i have the whole album and like, memorized the whole thing, well u would have to expect him being new as the vocalist doing all harsh vocals and lead guitar is quite a handful and him handling it quite well at their first gigs only means he has potential to get unreal man!! XD

i must say.. i was skeptical of the way this would sound without jamie, but this gave me the feeling that they have moved on and are pursuing a bit more of an evolved sound..i think they are going to make it work.. sounds incredible so far.. looking forward to the release guys!.. btw tell me 1:03 doesn't sound like Phil from Whitechapel.. lol

@UKRCyanide i'm pretty sure of what i heard, if you listen to eclipsed that guitar solo is played in the mid section, you might be mistaken as to which part i mean, when the camera is panning over the drum kit

@xungoni its nowhere on the album, i also wanted to know cos the guitar sounds so sweet then kicks in to suhc a cool sounding riff. Must have been a track that didnt make the final release? its definitely not on the CD, and i dont think it is the bonus track on itunes? the only song it sounds like it could possibly be from is from the edge of the earth, but i aint that either! argghhh

nice studio footage ... Its always sad when a band loses a member , especially something so remarkable as the vocalist, but i think Josh will fit the role very well.
but the music remains kick-ass thrash !!! (yeah, thrash, not metalcore as this band is labeled so often... just listen to the riffs, pure thrash!!! )
Conclusion of an Age was a epic and technically amazing debut, I'm excited about their new material. are there any release dates yet?
