    --------------------------------------
Thanks for voting! I'm off to the Philippines on Monday. I'll be performing in/around Manila all week and then next week I'll be doing some school clinics at the international school. It should be fun. I'm kind of overtired trying to get the videos done ahead of time so I can pick up and go for a couple weeks, but we're almost there. Hey! Happy Easter! If you want you should go check out my Jesus Christ Superstar medley I did last year for Easter, or if Star Wars is more your speed, Cantina Band! Hope you guys liked it! Time to finish something different and unique for next week...

it sounds a little MIDI file ish to be honest with you pal. Your probs better off just using a decent ribbon mic. they are good for recording brass instruments as they pick up the reverberation of the room too. but hey, then again it could just be my shite tv speakers. also i'm a tuba player so don't take my word for it, I don't have a clue about the acoustics of the trombone, but for my instrument i would use ribbon mic about 4 to 6 feet away directly in front of me for trombone. I raise the mic slightly above my head and angle towards my bell for tuba so i get a direct sound but you can still hear the room so to speak. Sorry to comment a little negatively but i think its important and feel free to comment back if you think i'm wrong because I am very interested in acoustics and would like to know more about the acoustics of other instruments other than tuba

As a trombone player myself (Well, not for a long time though. I've played it for about 3 or 4 years if I remember.), I'm very glad I stumbled across this amazing video. Hopefully, I might be able to learn and possibly play it someday. And if not, it'll never hurt to listen to this over and over again. I'll make sure to check out more videos of yours as well, seeing as how this was the first video I've seen. Other than that, a fantastic job! ^w^
