in my opinion all the shimano holdalls should have the moulds for the reels more upwarts. When you fishing longer handle rods with big pits, then the rods doesnt fit into the bag. whats the sense starting the moulds in the lower handle section. its not for fly rods.
Would have liked to see more of the inside of the holdall as it’s a product to protect the rods as well as transport them, but I’m going to order one to have a look at it 👍 Nice design Shimano
@@stuthomson9908 Hi Stu, due to the lack of info from Shimano and on the interweb I didnt buy one in the end I went for the Trakker Holdall, but since then Ive slimmed my kit down to the Thinking Anglers Slim Rod Holdall, A lot smaller but nice and compact, but not the degree of protection as the Shimano one by the look of it. (sorry for Waffling)
I would have put the side pocket zip at the top on the same face as the main zips for the rods. Then ur not fishing “pun intended” around in the dark for what you have in the extra storage space.
For me it is juste light, 3 or 4 fishing rod, exemple 4 fishing rod and 1 spod and 1 marker , it is just. Forwhat shimano don't not create Trench Gear PADDED ROD SLEEVE for 6 fishing rod ?
