The Ice Vellumental boss can be pretty challenging at first, but this strategy makes the boss very easy, and I explain some back-up strategies in case everything doesn't go exactly as planned.

You said for ice maze that the only solution that works is that one before the boss starts spinning it, that is not True because I beat this boss by being able to spin/slide a different solution.
@@pokemonanimebattle3615 I guess you could get lucky and have an alternative possible solution :) I'd still suggest to anyone looking for advice to memorize the path shown for the ice maze because that strategy works every time
@@ZXMany it's more easier to pay attention to half of a slide and the rest rotate in place, if half a slide isn't enough find another half a slide then start rotating, half a slide in this context means four out from the center.
@@pokemonanimebattle3615 Interesting, do you know which method is used in speed running? I thought it would've been memorizing the ice maze, but if this is faster, I wonder if someone would take the chance on RNG to use this method

Another tip for people who struggle with the Ice Maze attack. If you can't memorize the rings you can take a picture of the layout. I only recommend this if you are having trouble because doing this makes the fight really easy most of the time.
Another thing is not all rings are turned so if you keep track of which rings actually get scrambled itll be a little easier to narrow down your options if you can remember

A tip you can use for memorizing the ice maze. Screenshot the maze before the ice Vullemental starts shuffling it.

I think it's okay :) I'm watching the new world record speedruns for the bosses as they come out so I can see if there are more efficient ways of doing them
HOW DID YOU DO THAT?! WHAT ABOUT THE EDDY RIVERS?
A magic talking ice cream with a hat I had to play the eddy rivers for like 5 hours to 100% getting every coin
The wording in the tips letter made it sound like the way to free the vellumental circles from the ice shards was to line them up. I tried hitting them with fire flowers, smacking them with hammers, jumping on them and none of it worked. This frustrated me so bad I had to stop playing for a couple days and after several tries I still wasn't getting it. Thank you so much for clarifying how to deal with the ice shards, and thank you for the tip on memorizing the final ring placements in the last part of the battle. I doubt I EVER would have been able to figure it out on my own.🙂

About 3:24, If you can, get the action +1 panel & use shiny fire flower on the 2nd action command. If u guys don’t feel confident about getting 4 excellent fireball hits.

Easy tip, dont follow the maze at all. On your first turn, you have to get to the on switch first on that turn. After the bear attacks go to the magic circle that is already on (if the magic circle is super close to you turn it towards you so your able to attack it without having to go through tbe maze) really helpful for people that dont like mazes
Fun fact: When it is on the ice maze, take a picture if you have space on your switch. Then when it's on the rings, go to home then pictures and cheat that way. No time will be taken from the game.

"Moltres" LOL! That's what I always call it. But man, every time I get to a new boss in this game, I feel tempted to quit because I get so frustrated. But I feel SO good when I actually defeat them. And man, I didn't even know that I could do the action commands on fire flowers etc. All this time and I never knew that.

I stopped playing some games like Monster Hunter: Rise, because I needed to play a game is a little peaceful, so I figured, Paper Mario: Origami it is! Boy, was I wrong!!!
I love the villages that must be ventured and the silly antics of each character I visited, but the bosses…. I wasn’t expecting this…
I am thoroughly enjoying this game as I went in with slightly low expectations after playing some of the previous games in the series. Paper Mario (N64) and Paper Mario: Thousand Doors (GCN) are still two of my all-time favorite Paper Mario games in the series, but Paper Mario: OK ranks third.

What do you do if the 1000-fold-arm is incased in ice after the boss uses ice maze at the end of the fight?
Great question! Do you see the sliding move that's done at 3:55? You'll have to move the 1000-fold-arm circle all the way across the board, and press the "A" button again once it's in place so that the ice stays broken. If you press the "B" button and don't use up a turn to break the ice, then the ice won't stay broken

Not all rings are turned when it scrambles them. For example the 3rd ring with the ON panel. By noticing this you can set up your first two rings trying to get to this on panel and setting up the last ring to end on a magic circle. Just another way of thinking about it to solve the puzzle

And Water is probably some new Pokemon they can introduce at Generation 10
