A new paper-crafted Mario adventure unfolds on Nintendo Switch!
The kingdom has been ravaged by an origami menace! Join Mario and his new partner, Olivia, as they battle evil Folded Soldiers, repair the damaged landscape, and try to free Princess Peach’s castle from the clutches of King Olly in this comedy-filled adventure, only on the Nintendo Switch™ system.
Mario and Luigi receive an invitation from Princess Peach to attend an origami festival and excitedly hurry to Toad Town…but something’s amiss. After investigating the eerily empty town, the duo finds a fearsome (and folded) Princess Peach-she’s been turned into origami by King Olly, ruler of the Origami Kingdom! every time I fight a boss, I forget I can do vertical movements and I just do the circular movements lol

I spent so long trying to understand what they meant by timing.
Lol, same. I thought it meant that I had to time the 1,000 Fold Arn hits for some reason

Same, i thought it was timing the hits and then it hit me out of nowhere. I noticed that the bird didn't stop throwing his apparent self damaging feathers. So I just waited it our and I was right
The biggest problem with this boss was guessing that one should use 1000 fold arms at the end of battle otherwise it heals itself.
He always healed at the very end because i had no chance of killing him :(

I finally looked this up to see how low his health bar needed to be to beat it. Just copy the same basic moves as the video and wait until it has the ring of fire around the inner circle (Olivia says something like “he’s gearing up for something big”) then hit him with the thousand fold arms. This boss sucked lol I hate fire levels

When it was really low on health and the fire was put out, I just stomped it with flashy iron boots.

Man, the 1000 fold arms move is brutal. I mean, sometimes Mario does play a little bit rough, but with these folded arms he REALLY messes enemies up.
Moltres looks pretty good in oragami form. Maybe it could lead to a gen 9 regional form.
It didn’t cause the actual regional form is not that origami chicken

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who didn’t know you could move the panels in lines.
I hate the mixed signals that the game gives you during this boss fight. Olivia stresses that you need to put those flames out, and if you don’t know any better, you’ll be wasting time trying to use water power while the boss’s HP is still high, only to have it regenerate and start over again. And the fact that this boss FORCES you to take damage, even though the game has been showing you that you can get through most battles without taking damage at all. This battle system held the game back from getting a higher score.
Last night, I lost some minutes getting which will be the best way to defeat this creature, and, the solution is: Do nothing. I mean, just move to get hearts (and be prepared to defend from its attacks), and then, leave "Moltres" to reduce itself its HP and filling the Field with flames. After losing about 80% HP, activate a Dragon Water Attack, and then, use fold Arms. Soooo Easy. But, timing. After one anxious hour, I could defeat it.
This Boss was easier then people were making it seem for me. Once you get the timing and strategy, this Moltres Ripoff gets destroyed by you.
So I think you’re supposed to keep hitting it so the bar goes down! Then when it’s down enough use the fold arms. Also from time to time extinguish this flame feathers?

Once I read the very helpful people in the comments and watched the video this was painfully easy
Battle glitched my first attempt and no water vellumental tiles ever showed up for me to clear the feathers. Came here because I knew that's what I was supposed to do and needed to make sure I wasn't crazy.

Now that I see it, its so obvious how it works still using 4 spaces. Same with still being able to shift all the panels across the diameter.. I love this game.

I was about to finish this then I realised I was playing with a GameCube controller without motion controls and I ran out of time
this helped me out so much I feel like an idiot though for not thinking to make the first tile the jump attack

Yes while he is on fire you can not touch him unless you use a hurlhammer or iron boots but when you extinguish his flames you can jump on him with regular boots

that is impossible
First turn get either the on button and attack with a hurling hammer or iron boots if you have it. The goal of your first turn is to get the chest and unlock the water move. After that I use my next turn to press the on button and normal attack use an item if you have to to keep from getting hurt. By turn 3 you should be ready to use the water move. This sends the boss down and extinguishes its feathers. You have 2 turns till he ignites again. So spend one turn to grab a chest and attack since it's no longer on fire with your basic jump. The second turn press the on button for the water circle. Immediately after it will go up in flames again but you already have your water circle out and activated so you can send him down before he heals itself. It's a bit tedious but rinse and repeat. Should be good to go if you can get the pattern down.

It's random everytime, I believe. I think you can just reload the game until you get this layout.
