One thing i really dislike about the 2006 model is that there is no rpm gauge, really annoying to me. Nice truck tho!

Inherited a 05 Reg cab, Short bed, XLT with the 4.6L and 3.55 gears. I was thinking, a shorty light V8 truck was gonna be fun. Nope...this thing is a total pig.
Even went thru and did extended maintenance on it with plugs, coils, PCV, filters, etc.
Our heavy 13 Super Crew XLT with a 5.0 is quicker in every way compared. I guess double weight doesnt negate double horsepower.
