I had to take an extra shot of espresso to try to match your energy 😂 Thanks for the comment. You have been and continue to be an inspiration to myself and so many others 🤟🏻
desperate for attention these days huh @PeterMcKinnon? lol...your view:sub ratio is among the worse on youtube. pretty sure if you audited your account you'd reveal a LOT of paid bots by Sean and his "space station" team. You're the biggest grifter on youtube, figure that out and maybe you'll find your second wave.
Got this when it was released on kickstarters and got it right in time for my Japan trip. It’s a nice bag, fit under the seat perfectly. Just since I’m a full frame Sony guy I felt like most of my lens and body had a hard time. I had my 24gm, sigma 35 1.2 and sigmas new 70-200(both sigmas being pretty huge lens) hated that I couldn’t keep the 70-200 mounted to the body in the bag and it was kinda hard pulling it out of the side access. Literally walked all the way up Fushimi Inari with it my hands and people were constantly asking how I could do it with such a big lens lol. It’s a great bag but I feel like it’s more appropriate for APS-C people
lol Yeah, although I rock a full frame camera, my lenses are a lot smaller than the ones you shoot with. I could totally see being an issue though with larger zooms.
I’ve been using this bag for concert photography. It fits 2 Sony full frame cameras, a 35mm, 24-70mm, and 70- 200mm lenses. The zipper pulls are all the same and I end up opening the laptop compartment when I want to open the main compartment.
I remember a video of Peter saying he hated side acces, clamshell was the way to go. Why does he has his name on a bag with that feature? Sounds like just slapping your name on something and get those royalties
this design seems to have aped the Brevite Jumper design ...except for the magnets...and they have the camera side zipper on the right (instead of left).
@bubuli I was actually thinking the same thing during the review. It feels like there are lots of similarities between this and my Jumper from Brevite. I’ll say that the Nomatic feels just a bit more sturdy than the Brevite. The Nomatic also has a bit more accessible camera cube storage, but the brevite has an extra pouch and additional little pockets for items that the Nomatic does not.
I'm referring to a little camera called Camp Snap. It's basically a disposable film camera, but digital, and it's only like $65. I'll be posting a video review on it sometime in the near future, but you can get more info on their website www.campsnapphoto.com/
I honestly haven't owned a ton of camera bags, but I'd say my favorite i between this bag and my Brevite Jumper. Both serve my needs well. I kind of wish I could combine different elements from both to make one perfect bad.
I use a Neewer 2-in-1 Rolling Camera Backpack , it has wheels but its a back pack also .. I hope you got what I meant, I just feel without Peters name on it would we be interested in it ? @@ZacSopak
I'm not a fan of side access bags for camera's.. walking around the inner city (Sydney) bag zipper's get opened constantly by street kids/junkies.. I'd be too paranoid to concentrate on my photography..
it's not worth the hype, it's a Nomadic bag with Peter's signature on it and only partnered because Nomadic still thinks that Peter can sell bags. He can to a point, but that number is going down FAST. The guy is THE DEFINITION of a GRIFTER. Luma BAG is all it needs, the whole Peter mckinnon partnership should die.
I wouldn't call him a grifter. I think people are mostly pleased with his other products like the other Nomatic bags and his VNDs. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Great overview! Hope it serves you well!! (nice intro btw. A+ )

Very informative video! Do you know if the Peak Design Capture Clip will fit on the shoulder strap? Is it too wide?
I don’t own the capture clip so I can’t say for sure
It will but it will crush the strap a bit
Great Rivew! I can't find an answer on the internet about this. What is the largest laptop size that can be put in the LUMA Backpack?
I imagine a 16in macbook pro would fit, but I only have a 13in so I can't exactly say for sure
new bag? I still need to buy the first one!! 🤣
There's a lot to choose from haha
Love the video man! Just posted mine a couple days ago as well!
Nice dude!
I remember a video of Peter saying he hated side acces, clamshell was the way to go. Why does he has his name on a bag with that feature? Sounds like just slapping your name on something and get those royalties
Tough to say. Obviously his preference is his preference, but maybe he wanted to reach more of a mass audience 🤷🏻♂️
hey zack are you using black promist on that particular video ?
Nope. Just the Sony A7iv and a mix of the Sony 35mm and 20mm 1.8 📸

This could just be a dope bag.
It is pretty dope
Wonder why he didn’t didn’t stuck with the tan color interior
Not sure. Makes me wonder if the other bag colors have the same interior. That may have been a factor.
what is a cheapo disposable digital camera?

Just got my Luma 12L sling and am so disappointed in it. Wish I could return the Kickstarter purchase.
Ahh bummer. What don't you like about it?
Peter loves magnets 🧲
Me too! 🧲🧲🧲
@ZacSopak thanks for the honest review by the way. Very fair comparison.
@@TMVVisualMedia of course 👍🏻
What is your favorite camera bag?
I honestly haven't owned a ton of camera bags, but I'd say my favorite i between this bag and my Brevite Jumper. Both serve my needs well. I kind of wish I could combine different elements from both to make one perfect bad.
im not a fan boy of PM so probably would give it a miss & I guess most would also if it wasn't for his name all over it
I hear that. What kind of bag do normally use?
I use a Neewer 2-in-1 Rolling Camera Backpack , it has wheels but its a back pack also .. I hope you got what I meant, I just feel without Peters name on it would we be interested in it ? @@ZacSopak
No, the answer will always be no, its a camera bag, go buy any of them
?
I feel that
I'm not a fan of side access bags for camera's.. walking around the inner city (Sydney) bag zipper's get opened constantly by street kids/junkies.. I'd be too paranoid to concentrate on my photography..
I can't say that I've ever had that issue, but it definitely makes sense.
7.5
out of 10?
Way to name drop for views haha
I mean his name is on the bag 🤷🏻♂️
No quick access?
It has it on the left side of the bag
Oh sorry missed that part . Thanks
I own both of his other nomatic bags. I will not be buying this one. Doesn’t look to be on the same level.
I don't have any experience with the other Nomatic bags, but this one definitely seems to be very stripped in comparison.
Just buy it because you like his looks.
Rate my PWHATTS UPP!

It’s so ugly.
It's definitely a different look
