Monster Squad the movie from the 80's had the same twist. The 'Scary German guy' was a holocaust survivor, but they just heard the German accent and saw he was roughly WWII age and got scared. The only Nah Zee soldiers who moved to the US were the scientists, everyone else was a refugee.

When color on TV was first announced my grandma thought it was gonna happen with No issue but she didn't know you had to buy a new tv😢😂 that had the new additions to make it color she watched all day too
@@Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz-e1f it was they wanted a season 6 but netflix only wanted 5 so thats why season 5 although is a good ending is still very rushed.
Fun fact before color tv’s people dreamed in black and white. Also yes it was a huge deal to have a color tv, you can even look up the day that tv changed over to color and it’s incredible
Havent watched this yet, not sure why. Check out 'Fugget About it' if you want another Family guy style cartoon. The Kid is like Stewie Griffin's dream girl, from the early seasons when he was cool and evil.
Here in England buddy pigs n blankets is sausages wrapped in bacon we mainly have it with Christmas Dinner love the reactions buddy f is for family is classic😂 big mouth is worth a watch as well very funny
12:40 the size of the TV corresponds to the number pixels... or in old TVs Scan lines. Its exactly the same as 1080p vs 4k just the pixel sharpness was much lower and meant how many scan lines there were. HD back then would have been ~ 1000 scan lines, standard definition would be half that, Also Different aspect ratios for different tvs would mean different qualities. Same Mumbo different Jumbo.
Yep this is relatable to me even though I grew up in the 2000s. I enjoyed the stressful dinner bit at the beginning, dinners were always stressful for both me and my parents because I was a very fussy eater. (still am but not so much) I would refuse to eat about 80% of the food they made so dinners weren’t much fun. I remember my dad also occasionally let me take sips of his wine, But I live in the uk and drinking is not so frowned upon here.
F is for Family wasn’t cancelled. It ended, there’s a difference. Most Netflix shows are cut short after a few seasons but here they got to tell the story they wanted to and it came to a natural end.
600 bucks for a TV back then was like 3 Grand today. Oh and we had to put rabbit ears on top of the TV which were antennas and we only could pick up three channels and there were two knobs on the TV and the bottom knob if you turned it to the u position you could maybe pick up an extra channel so if you were lucky you had four channels to watch. This was before remote controls and digital cable boxes came out. Hell the first VCR was like 600 bucks and when it got down to 300 bucks you thought you were getting a deal even though that was still a hell of a lot of money. And morons today think they deserve 18 to 25 dollars an hour to work at McDonald's when they sure as hell don't deserve it. I know when I started working I only made $3.75 an hour to start off. But before that I was pushing around a lawn mower around under the table trying to cut grass to make any money. We had chores and discipline and we had to make our own money. There was no such thing as an allowance. Only rich kids got that. Kids today wouldn't know what the hell to do if they had to live like we did. Hell these morons today don't even know if they're a damn boy or a girl one minute to the next. And none of that sick circus freak crap was being pushed on us by our teachers back then. We were actually learning things we needed like math and science and History. These moron today will waste their parents money going to college and get some useless damn degree like " lesbian dance theory" and wonder why their dumbass can't get a job. 🙄
Oh dude this show is SO UNDERRATED

This is exciting, I've seen so few reactions of the actual series. It gives me flashbacks to my folks when I was a wee lad
According to an inflation calculator I used that tv’s price would cost 4,544.68 today

Pigs in blankets are sausages wrapped in a rasher of bacon and then cooked.
Pigs in blankets are breakfast sausages wrapped in pancakes. Some people wrap those in bacon too.

$650 for a tv back then is kinda like buying one of the ultra thin 8k tvs for $5k. It was a big deal lol

650 dollars in 1970 was $5,228
29% interest normal for the 70s
