Looks about right. After using my calculator, he has 24 episodes left. On average, that's 2.18181818 onwards episodes per season [please let me know if I said it right!].
Randy irritates me sometimes. The Walmart was imploding, and he still wanted to purchase the products instead of just stealing them and running out of the building🤦♂️
This was a Poltergeist-based episode; but they referenced The Omen for that. YT It's all for you Damien.* *who they also used in a 1st season episode of the same name! :D
@@deathmauler181 That's the one! It's all for you Damien, the the Nanny publicly jumps and hangs her self smashing through a window.... but you don't see her shit herself!! >XD
“Why are we going here? We can get it at Walmart for cheaper.” “Sorry boys, stores closed. I can’t keep up with Walmart’s low prices.” Both of those statements are accurate today IF you replace Walmart with Amazon.
This exact shit happened in the city I live in. They decided to build a largest shopping mall in south-east Finland 5 km out of the central next to highway, so the bypassers don't even have to come to the city proper. That killed the central completely and housing market plummeted by over 70%
As far as I recall, this is the full list of all the movie references (and at least one book reference) The title of the episode is a reference to both a line from Shakespear's _Macbeth_ "Something Wicked this way comes" and the book that shared that line as a title. The House's destruction in Poltergiest (Walmart's destruction) The Shining (Randy with the axe) The Matrix Reloaded (the guy who can take many forms, a parody of the Matrix's Architect) Independence Day (the bit at the end with the morse code machine)
At 12:40, I'd say that's a reference to the Frog Brothers in _Lost Boys,_ with the connecting line being that Corey Feldmen was one of the brothers as well as being the main character in _Something Wicked This Way Comes._
You never heard of “something wicked this way comes”? My fave was the iPod Nano - Electric Green. On the back I had it engraved with “whatever doesn’t kill me makes me stronger” from a Slipknot song. The best was the Trivia game it came with. It would randomly pick a song from your library and give you four choices of what the song could be. It would start playing the song and for every second that it played you lost 1 point. I was so good at it that I could identify thousands of my songs in under three seconds!
First, Timecop was awesome. second, you could buy 3 copies of the same movie if you and 2 other people wanted a copy. you pay the discounted price and every one splits it and it becomes cheaper for each individual
I miss our old Walmart. It was connected to the mall, wasn't too big and brought business to our side of town. They built an early supercenter on the other side of town. They actually did tear up a beautiful park to build it. It wasn't bad at first, but now it pulls business away from our side of town, it's always busy, and has pushed so many places out of business it's because the only place to buy a lot stuff.
I worked at Walmart for 4 years, quit 5 months before the pandemic started! Best decision of my life! Working there was terrible after they became a superstore!
Awesome reaction to yet another awesome South Park episode. This really comes to show how everything at Wal-Mart really be running. If you think about it, all this consumerism to different stores, both big and small, really does create an endless cycle.
Dude I used to RIP CDs into .wav files then use a bin file to manually encode each file into an .mp3. in DOS. The process to make a cd to mp3 was about 5 hours of computing.
You ever notice how when Kenny dies, he never craps his pants? It's because he never dies for real! That doesn't include Worldwide Recorder Concert, as Kenny dies from crapping his pants. He doesn't crap his pants after he dies.
Back then it was a silly spooky gimmick that the price signs are changing on their own. Now we literally have e-ink tags that do exactly that... freaked me out the first time i saw it.
What Cartman was saying about 💩 when you die is true to a point, except he says, “your jowls release”. He should have said bowels. Jowls are a description of sagging skin around the cheeks and jawline. It’s pronounced among old out of shape white guys. Bowels is a term for intestines, which is the location in the body where leftover food is converted to waste.
This was the first episode I ever watched as a kid and my mum walked into the room to check what I was watching...just as the guy jumped out the window. 😂 I'll never forget that. Been waiting on this reaction for the past year
... Bro recognized "The Shining" from the 'Nightmare on Facetime' (BlockBuster) episode... But failed to connect the dots between: "Let's burn it down!" -> "No no no, let's *freeze* it"! I'm sad. This was also a rip-off of The Shining where in the book the hotel burns down, but in the movie it freezes over.
yea mp3 players were pretty cheap...if your local shop wasn't insane. had a cheap one that got tossed, went to the local shop for a quick replacement...ow we have this sony 128mb ow how much is that? 299....okay thank you i'll consider it (not >.>) think the one that got tossed was 70 bucks for a creative 512mb one that sounded pretty good, the sony was nice...but not 299 nice :P it didn't even seem particularly high end the price just seemed to be disconnected from reality.
Yo son SABATON man, what happened? One song, AND you really liked "Christmas Truce" so how about another please!🙏 🎶1916🎶 Motorhead cover they did, or 🎸Bismarck🎸🙏. Actually I am greed, do BOTH!
As soon as I started watching this, I thought, "Wait a minute! I don't even want ONE copy of Timecop!"

They were all 24 hours before COVID.
I 'member
not all of them alot of them though.
As a former employee of Walmart, I still saw turning it into a 24 super store was the worst decision ever!

The Block Buster episode was "A Nightmare on FaceTime"
Like “Something Wicked This Way Comes” but this episode references lots of movies.
Also, Terry Patchett's novel "Reaper Man" (feature a sapient Supermarket).😅

I actually MISS Walmart being open 24/7. Now it closes and 11 (I think) and opens at 7....
First, Timecop was awesome. second, you could buy 3 copies of the same movie if you and 2 other people wanted a copy. you pay the discounted price and every one splits it and it becomes cheaper for each individual
The only thing that might stop Walmart is Amazon.
7:05 Cartman’s toys and a Chinpokomon are in the claw machine lol
When I’m old, I’m totally gonna be like “back in my day we had this thing called an iPod. You could put alllll your songs on it.”
It's ends like the movie poltergeist

24 hour Walmart. Man, those were the days!
Didn't it only stop since covid ?
I love the older seasons when the whole town is stupid and overreacts to everything 😅😅
And before mp3 players there were minidisc players! God I loved those!

As a customer I miss 24 hour Walmart. As an employee I’m happy it’s gone.
While we don’t have Wal-Mart here in the United Kingdom Wal-Mart actually owns the store chain ASDA here which is one of the biggest here

Glad we don't have Walmart or Amazon monopoly.
Isn't this a reupload
Amazon is the Walmart of the Internet
The grocery industry is not a great business model anymore as described in this episode. There’s a number of outdated and policies in big name chains.
