Blaine, have you come across any guys who feel better taking a deload every 3rd week, i.e., 2 weeks of hard training followed by 1 week of easy training?
Probably in the range of 10-20 % depends on how you feel. You can do instead of 3 sets of 5 ,2 sets of 5 with 90% or 3 set of 5 with 80%. Experience lifters need more deloads while novice not that much.
