Nonsense speed on 262kg without a single struggle, i would say that in his best shape he would do 275kg or more to struggle like Lasha's 270s lift. Exciting times to come! Huge talant!

@dr.armanassadi5736 shoulder* but yes. That's exactly what I'm afraid of. Iran never tells their boys to slow down, you either have self control, or end your own career early. It's a TERRIBLE environment for any kind of long-term success in talented individuals. Because the more talented someone is, the more likely they are to push themselves farther than they can safely go. Rostami is a massive outlier in the length of his career. And the only iranian I can think of who was active across 4 olympic quads. Dispite iran fielding full (male only) teams at nearly every international event possible, which is still a ton of athletes, even without the women.

Questi atleti fanno paura, oltre che ad alzare il bilanciere devono sollevare anche il loro peso pertanto sollevano molto di più. Bravi.

I love to see the big cl & jerk guys overcome big leads by the snatch aficionados and take a medal away from them. Gor had 15 kg leads twice this year that he lost; in the Asians to Assad for gold and here to Yousefi for bronze. Kudos to him for making his 3rd attempt when he was in danger of bombing but he has such poor technique with his jerk it’s a wonder he doesn’t injure himself more often. His back right foot is flat and angled should have been corrected when he was just starting out.
