The craziest thing about Yousefi is regardless of the weight he lifts that bar up so fast. What a beast. We are waiting for a new world record in coming years hopefully
Bru. I agree. To me it is more exciting to se 3 or 4 lifters feeding off each other, positions changing till the very last lift instead of watching Lasha crush everyone. Look I can acknowledge him as the GOAT and appreciate his record but a comp like this is what I enjoy most.
@@soroushnekI think there's a strong argument to suggest otherwise. Snatch is King! a big C&J although more of a soectacle, means absolutely nothing if you can't snatch big numbers, in a very literal sense.

Nonsense speed on 262kg without a single struggle, i would say that in his best shape he would do 275kg or more to struggle like Lasha's 270s lift. Exciting times to come! Huge talant!
A couple hours ago he posted a picture if him in the training hall with ice taped on his knees. He needs to slow down or his career will end before it even takes off.

we already lost Olympic gold medalist Sohrab Moradi because he was in 90 category but was liftin as heavy as the world heavyweights!. Moradi broke his elbow and never recovered
@dr.armanassadi5736 shoulder* but yes. That's exactly what I'm afraid of. Iran never tells their boys to slow down, you either have self control, or end your own career early. It's a TERRIBLE environment for any kind of long-term success in talented individuals. Because the more talented someone is, the more likely they are to push themselves farther than they can safely go. Rostami is a massive outlier in the length of his career. And the only iranian I can think of who was active across 4 olympic quads. Dispite iran fielding full (male only) teams at nearly every international event possible, which is still a ton of athletes, even without the women.
