Thanks so much for this man, this helped a lot. I'm actually trying to apply this effect to maps of the earth from hundreds of millions of years ago to transition between multiple images showing the continents shifting, so I was just wondering if you knew any easy way of apply this effect to multiple different images automatically? If not it's cool, this has still been really helpful either way.

Automatically is not really possible here, because you need to show liquify what to do for each part.
What you COULD try is to precompose each two images, then add a timewarp effect and increase the error threshold pretty high.
That would require some playing around but might work ; )
