I am anxiously following your progress. I made the mistake of moving into my Bus before any of the systems were in place. So yes, it is fully furnished, but the windows have not been resealed, nothing is insulated. I don’t have flooring down, and rust proofing paint in the floor has peeled horribly in the back third of the bus. I have two extension cords ran from my cabin, which my best friend is living in.(long story) and there is so much I want to do, but the thought of unloading two sets of bunkbeds, a twin bed, three dressers, three large storage shelving units, 2 portable acs, and 20 some totes, etc Is unsurmountable being in a power chair. One day, I am going to have to rent a storage unit for a month, hire people to unload the bus, and then have all the insulation and flooring done, put water tanks and water hook ups in the sink, etc. and then pay somebody to put everything back. 🤪😞 so for now I am managing with jugs of water and I am going to get two solar panels installed on my roof in November. Good luck and God bless, I wish I was your age and not 62. JeffeysMom ❤️🙏👍🏻🐾👨🦼✌️🏕️🚍
We appreciate you tuning in! You may have to hang on for a while though as our conversion progress has slowed down quite a bit. Right now we are focusing more on generating an income to fund the conversion and not much more than what you have seen in the videos has been accomplished. I wouldn't consider it a mistake if it's working for you for now. I (Kali) continually need to remind myself that there is no rush as long as our set-up is working for us- it's one day at a time. It sounds like you have a lot of work to do as well, but we will all get there- we just need to keep our priorities straight slow down and enjoy life in the process. Best wishes to you on your journey as well! And thank you, again, for engaging! ❤️
