I have a 6-6 lost crowd killer round which is very similar to that board, before trying the BMT's I Was using the MR's with a trailer fin, I prefer the BMT's @@TheSurfboardGuide
Hey! Not sure if you’re familiar with our reviews, but this is the “Initial Thoughts”, so it’s just an intro to the board. We’ll be back in a few weeks with a few review that’ll include surfing footage and more ✌️
Hey Craig, I’m torn between the CI M-23 and the Chilli Mid Strength around 7’0. What are the main differences or reasons to buy one versus the other? Keith
Hey! I don't wanna ruin the full review, but i hope this makes sense. I like the M23 as a 6'6 - i wouldn't want it bigger. It has more of a shortboard feel but with added volume and buoyancy. It turns well and you can still feel like you're surfing well. I think if it was bigger for me it would start feeling bulky and clunky. I like the Mid Strength at 6'10 - or even bigger. Something about the design allows it to feel like a big board with a long rail line, but then feel very versatile and maneuverable when you want it to be. The Mid Strength let me surf it as a quad, and using a smaller quad set kept it maneuverable, but it had great grip through the long rail line. I don't think one of these is better than the other, i think they are both different, and do a different type of surfing... Hope that helps!
For sure, but probably not in the real steep/heavy stuff. 6-10ft Uluwatu and this thing would be a dream. 6-10ft Desert Point, this might feel a bit bulky and you’d want the Happy Traveller or something more refined through the front ✌️
Really looking forward to the full review!
I really like the Britt Merrick Twin fins, it's a high bred twin fin set up, real drivey and enough pivot to turn
The BMT’s? I don’t know if I’d ride this as a pure twin… have you tried it?

✌️
Keen for this one!
Look forward to full review. Can you compare to the midstrength?
Will do - there similarities, but they’re very different…
It would be very useful, besides your comments, to watch a video surfing with the board in different conditions

My two boys did it, but not sure it was the best idea as it now has about $0 resale value… 😂
@@TheSurfboardGuide could be a keeper 🤙
Well, no one else is gonna want it…
Hahaha
Hey Craig, can you do jS el baron review please
Hey! I don’t really do JS boards anymore…
When is the actual review coming out?
Hey! Hopefully in the coming weeks, have surfed it plenty and got a good understanding of what works/doesn't work, but just need to film surf footage!
Looks interesting, have you tried the DHD Interceptor?
Hey! No, is that a mid from DHD?
Yeah, looks interesting, runs from 6'6- 7'2, cheers Brett
Don’t really do DHD’s…
How is this different to the round tail crowd killer?
Never surfed it, so no idea

@@TheSurfboardGuide I am torn between the 2 as well. Look forward to it!
Could you surf this as a step up board for indo?
For sure you could, but of course the “happy traveler” would be ideal
