I didn't have an electric train when I was young. This is incredible. I'm an old man and could play with this for hours.

I made an airport model in my house in Costa Rica, but I never made some like this.... it´s fantastic and admirable. I made cities, buildings and many others models and I dreams with this since I was a child. Congratulations. (I am sorry for my English) Thanks.

We were in 2017 in M.W. and participated in a guided tour ("Blick hinter die Kulissen"). You could walk around there all day and not see everything.

6 years and 3.5 million Euros?! I can't help thinking I could have made this SINGLE HANDEDLY in that time with that money.....
This would give children basic airfield knowledge ie what goes on in a airfield operation and how aircraft are loaded with cargo and how they do it and what equipment there are in regards to push back etc. From rayhan Ahmed (cargo aircraft loader )
Great! I‘ve seen it, that lovely, wonderfull “Wunderland“ at Hamburg. You can stay for hours, there is a Restaurant and all you need!!!

they should add the shinkansen, it would be a lot of work but it'll look really good with everything else
That would mean adding a Japan section. They might already think about it. Main problem: lack of space. But they are working on that.
They rented another building and built a bridge to it, so there is enough space now.
First they will install South America, then perhaps Middle America, and then very likely Asia. A model train display with an Asia section almost surely would have a Japan part and this would, at least in my opinion be incomplete without the Shinkansen.
I love trains but I could really love playing with these beautiful airplanes. Great models!

I cannot say enough about how fantastic this model is bith the trains and the airport I love em both. My wife and I are into model railway so a visit to this model would be a dream maybe one day. A credit to you all
I`m no model enthusiast but this is just SUPERB :)
The English people used to have this kind of enthusiasm, now they have neither the time nor the money.
We never have such investment interests from people. Nobody cared and it has nearly died out.

In October 1969, I visited something similar to this at the old Frankfurt airport. For a 10 year old, it was quite a visit. I've always wondered what happened to it. I believe it was in a building, somewhere on the airport grounds. Of course, this was before the opening of the new airport

actually tarmac is a thing, the definition of it is crushed rock. Some runways and most of airports are made from tarmac.
