Eloy might be an even better Drummer then Jay, but i always loved to see such a nice guy live his dream and it breaks my heart to see this to come to an end

All drama and business BS aside. I'm very thankful for the time and effort Jay put in the Knot.
I appreciate what he contributed to the band. He had big shoes to fill after Joey's time was over.
I truly feel like he did a great job.
I think Eloy is a perfect fit for them currently. However, as far as the public knows, I don't like how they let Jay go.
He deserved to be told face to face, man to man.
But, for all we know, it could've been hashed out behind "Do Not Disclose" agreements.
At the end of it all, Jay has a new gig with Suicidal Tendencies, and the Knot has Eloy.
Even more importantly, Joey and Paul's legacy will continue to live on through the band.
It was very sketchy when Jay was let go, but everything happens for a reason.
I still love this band, and I always will. Even if I don't always agree with some of their decisions.
    Long Live the Knot.

Still love slipknot, but it's strange with so many lineup changes over a short span of time. Chris, Craig, Jay all within what, 3 years??

I see what you mean. I'm still a slipknot guy regardless, but when people take issue with the constant lineup shuffling, I don't blame them.

@@TheLaunchPadStudio Just found your channel and subscribed. I've been watching some of the videos popping up on YT this past night with Eloy on the drums and all the comments talking about how he's so much better and it just makes me sick. It's rough. I thought Jay and Chris and Craig and everybody as a unit were fantastic, it doesn't feel the same with all the new members. Corey sounds better than he has in a long time though.

@@1Maverick2 Thanks for subbing! Yeah, i've watched some of the Eloy videos and i think he's talented. However, i don't think talent is what the disgruntled slipknot fans are frustrated with, its a band who started as a solid unit of 9 having 3 additional lineup changes in 3/4 years. Makes all that brotherhood talk feel a little hollow.
