So much beautiful work with so little ego...well done fellows
20:53 that moment right there brought me back to my dad welding and all you heard was rock music and the clinking of metal. God i miss those days. I so want to be in that moment again
Hey brothers cowboy here I've got to say watching you working together is really awesome great team of fabulous craftsmen and what y'all are Mai's bound to be an icon for many years to come keep doing what you're doing but remember be safe healthy and happy God Bless 🤠
Jimmy shine thinks everyone loves the sound of his voice as much as he does
An amazing assembly of automotive talent from Austin Speed Shop, Fathom Works, Jimmy Shine, etc. I wish I had an opportunity to do something like this when I was growing up! Great way to share knowledge and techniques and maybe learn something new!
Great build so far guys , but the young lad who made the rear quarters is really really talented great job by all 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I wish all commercials were like this!
This is a real gathering of heavy-hitters. The RMD/ Baileigh power hammers and English Wheels impress me more and more everytime I use them. Thanks for putting this together!
Kyle Yocum - you are a weapon on the power hammer. Much respect!!!!!
Damn, it's a team of super heroes! These guys make it look easy. Kyle Yocum may be the best sheet metal guy since Lazze.
That young man is impressive.
Would love to see more builds with these guys altogether
the level of craftmenship is just amazing
It has to be intense to work there to meet the dead line's. I'm shire if someone got just trying to stand around and not looking busy they won't last long in a high ends Hot Rod Shop. I worked in a body mechanic shop in the bay area of California. I must have seen 5 guys come and go in one month they couldn't handle the work and the boss that was running the body shop like clock work. The Car's and truck's that came out of his shop looked show and go ready. It's nothing like what they show on T.V. and video's.
Even I got from under working for someone else I got burnt out from having to have a car done by a. Certain time everyone depending on a certain part of the puzzle to be done.
This is some good stuff man! I was always hoping to see some of this kind of stuff on tv but everything there is so full of drama/everyone at each others throat etc. THIS is nice to see. Camaraderie, some explanation of what is going on/fab.process etc.i.e. that 27.5 degree angle for the shocks. AWESOME! Thank you
Yes support
Aaaaa.. fun to watch people that knows their stuff. thx for sharing.
I loved watching them build that quarter panel that was badass!
This build certainly brings back memories, 16-17 years old, 1966 Build on original frame, boxed, '46 front hydralic brakes, Ford Detroit Locker 5.13's or something. 1931 Ford 2 door sedan, chopped, channeled, 392 cu in Hemi (300D Chrysler), 2 fours, solids, tube headers,,,, was a wonderful learning event 1960's style.
Love the idea of using the BMW V12 in it. I love different, better than the common as muck SBC.
Sweet video
Love to see the finished article running
the soul of the car alive again !!! super well done guys!
Talent!!! Money and tools!!
And good tunes.......
+DrNephilim666
I saw tools, talent, skills, talent, materials, experience and talent, but no money.
All them fancy tools were free? and a V10 BMW engine? Maybe our vision of money is skewed I drive a 13 year old Toyota Echo...lol
+DrNephilim666
The tools were not free, the guys were allowed to use the tools at RMD to build this car.
I do not believe that is a V10.
This was a very talented group of artists that came together to construct another persons vision in a very short time period.
A true labor of love.
Work hard, make smart choices, have a realistic vision and you too can have tools and a custom car.
Awesome video Chris, Thanks for sharing...
its great watching artists
Bleed for the win. Cool video
Love the ride and the Metallica Fade To Black in the background lol!
Well what says it all folks...
That Flag hangin in the corner!!!
Glad to see American Pride is still alive!!!
Great build guys and looking forward to seeing the next video of finishing it!!!
Very nice and good educational. Txs
Awesome video
Really wish they would have showed us the spiral cut on the rear corners
Wrench666 he drew it out
Dam that was raw . Nice fucking work man .. .
Jimmy Shine knows what he is talking about.
Kick ass work for 3 days. What was that crunchy outro tune ?
Молодцы ребята просто SUPER !!!
A good crew with the right tools. Proof you can make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. Nice to have friends like this. Baileigh must of paid for the crews food. Nice tools and people who know how to run it
Amazing talent coupled with amazing tools.
I wish Baileigh would open a showroom like grizzly has. I live a hour north and I'd love to come in and play with some of there machinery.
First impression... ++++ camera work!
I love this!!!
Where can I learn to do just that!?!?!?!?!?
:)
I see where the talent comes from 7 right handed guys but best of all 3 left handed guys.Great work guys . Of course this comment comes from from a left handed metal and body man.
There better be a follow up video that includes burning rubber
magnifico.
I am happy to see what over a century of experience and top of the line equipment can build. I havent seen the finished product in action though. Where is the finished product? Does anyone have the link? Did it happen?
It's hardly difficult to make a rod when you got all the top of the range equipment ,and a budget that looks like a phone number!
A lot of rods were built with a hacksaw, files,a hammer and a stump of wood!
I dream of even just having access to kit like that, has to be every rod enthusiasts dream!
Andrew Wilson Still isn't exactly easy to build... for one, you've gotta have the talent and/or skill to use the equipment at the level those guys do. The vision to make it all come together the way this one did. And the determination to do it in the time frame they did. Don't try to take that away from them. This is one hell of a build on a damned short timeline.
if old timers have the technology of today they would used it.
"hardly difficult" lol
@@RussellTelker Some vision, they forgot to paint it.
I do all this myself and still build a good car
would love to see the finished car
ua-cam.com/video/wx4VKXoNCmU/v-deo.html here is the finished car
Marvelous what you can do with the blokes, money & machinery to do the job. Are you sure the V12 engine is big enough?
Holy shit if I had the money to build a rat rod I would defiantly ask these guys for some advice or help. beautiful car👍👍🤘🤘
their advice would be not to build a ratrod.
A V12 if I am not mistaken! I'm drooling already! I'm wondering what that came out of... a BMW 7 series possibly! Maybe it's mentioned in the video and I did not catch that detail.
+sparkimoto Near the beginning!
damn these guys are good
How is that frame not going to bottom when it hits any kind of bump?
Man that Yocum guy's hat kinda unique I like it but idk what is it name, could somebody please tell me the name / type of that hat ? Thanks
Some great craftsmanship by the black tee shirt generation
just thinking, are there any modular cabs of these reproduction for hotrod building instead of getting vintage cab, cutting them up and and make tons of modifications and fabrications just to fit. So that there will be still vintage cars left for the future generations to come.
Get a flat tire and that frame will be on the ground. How would you control the car?
Hello, can I share this video on our channel?
nice project , i was wandering who made the bellhousing conversion plate for you is it available
6 years ago (pre pandemic, life sure was different) and nobody answered you. As for me I do not know
What is the motor and trans set up being used??
Anyone else get the vibe Jimmy shine is trying to be like Jesse James?
muito bom ai na oficina legal
jimmy shine haters are just jealous of his talent, he builds the best traditional hot rods and his ardin head engine won first place at the grand national show, won for body and lines too
Bravo ! quelle savoir faire !
As a huge car nut, it was unusual to ffwd thru annoying moments. Some cool ideas in the build tho.
Where can I see the finished car? or more progress?
You can see a video of the finished car here: ua-cam.com/video/wx4VKXoNCmU/v-deo.html
Dose Bob ever work?
$3000 per day labor based on $20 per hr X15 guys on deck @ 8hrs Thank god for friends!
slick haired Jimmy Wine just cant get enough of himself. u would know who he is if it wasent for his lost friends at so cal. speed shop. thx Chip.
have you finished this build yet
ua-cam.com/video/wx4VKXoNCmU/v-deo.html here is the finished car
@@funtyes1970 he didn't shout out these guys at all!! and in my opinion made loads of horrible final look choices.
I like to know why they used a v12 motor ?
Simple answer: Chris Rusch always wanted to put a v12 into a hot rod. Likes the sound of it. See the video on our channel.
not impressed you didnt finish it or is there more videos on this car
Wheres the car now ?did it get finished ?
ua-cam.com/video/wx4VKXoNCmU/v-deo.html here is the finished car
So as normal Jimmy Shine standing around talking crap.
+Emtildeath6666 Jimmy Shine is just a Jessie James wannabe
nilselmeskov lol jimmy shine competes for the Americans most beautiful roadster award....top hand at so cal speed shop...two hundred mile per hour club at Bonneville....hahaha ....cant throw shade at ol' shine
Amazing what you can do with only 10 men and $500,000 worth of equipment and such a tiny workshop..............
Marxist?
Yes. The customer was happy. Baileigh got exposure. Nobody was cheated. That's capitalism.
это реально круто
I like the tube frame idea but i say it look to low in the middle of the car , and they did make a fuck up with the front end cause they had to cut it and redo it but other wise nice job ........
That shit happens when you build a car from scratch.
Soy de puro rico su programa no me lo piedo
3 lefties signed the car!
frame sits too low.
Maybe its a different Kyle Yocum lmfao
We did a story on this hotrod in ReinCarNation Magazine, and also put together a video of the completed build. (Sorry, no burning rubber but it sure looks like that's what they've been doing with it!) Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/wx4VKXoNCmU/v-deo.html
This is really stupid . Only in California. I was introduced to shine but I would not shake his hand , Kreeep with tatoos
i like idea, but looks slike there will be no light inside the car, driving a coffin.
It has a removable top! See the link we posted in another recent comment.
Sorry, not impressed with the finished product. I thought it might have lights, a radiator and this new thing called paint.
แบบภาษาไทยไม่มี หรือครับ
China is a little more like you guys
As videos go, this one is pretty bad.Amazing craft and can't hear a word they say with all the background noise. Wasted opportunity...
jimmy shine, i hope that you are NOT trying to look and act like jessie james, he has just about ruined his once respected rep,
jealous people dont get far in life .
Uh
量産化しようぜ
Their ruined a work of art
