I'd like to give a shout out to Jim Starlin and Mike Mignola's Cosmic Odyssey. Never really mentioned when it comes to lists like this, but a great series to me.
It had good moments, but is kinda poster boy for a writer not understanding Kirby's work. What Starlin wrote as the Anti-Life Equation is just nuts. (Say this a a big Starlin fan) :)
I'm new to comics and very interested in this era. Currently I'm reading Doom Patrol and Justice League International. I'm very interested in character who are lesser known outside of comics, so there are a few of those honorable mentions I'll be looking out for.
Other good, little know comics from the 80's, not in the video, I'd recommend would be: Starman (Will Payton), Infinity Inc, Manhunter, Young All-Stars and for something really out there, Wilddog! Have fun!
I own them all. It's why I'm DC's bitch forever. However many stupid decisions they make. And George Perez will always be my favourite artist. His WW run is untouchable.

That is just crazy, its top three at least. Definitely a superhero bias in the list, but hey it's your list!! Aside from all that, well done on putting it together. Good job man.
@@bobbymak6964 Ah, I see. Unfortunately, quality doesn't really determine cost- rarity does (character appears 2nd, then maybe quality). The books Perez was on were top sellers, so there are lots of copies floating around.
His output isnt rare. Everyone copped his 80s run. You’ll probably have more long term dollars with his pre-Titans Justice League run or other pre Titans contributions.
Well looking at the actual comicbook covers, it states, "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" then "Batman: The Dark Knight Triumph" then "Batman: Hunt the Dark Knight" and the finally, "Batman: The Dark Knight Falls" :)
Um, it's "The Dark Knight Returns". Always was, always will be. I'll accept "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" at a push, but not "Batman:The dark Knight". Watchmen (not The watchmen, ahem) should probably be no. 2 and yes, The Sandman should be in the top 10. Like the inclusion of Justice League, though.

It just sticks out as an error to me. A quick Google search would have clarified that. Yes, you do say "The Watchmen", when it is just "Watchmen". Not that I'm actually that bothered.
The Killing Joke didn't make the list. tears. tears. NOOOO. That was a masterpiece. I am sure if Masterpiece theater was still around, that old guy would talk about how great the Killing Joke was lol.
OMG showing up at the comic store every day so i didn't miss an issue of DKR and Watchmen. We didn't realize how good we had it.

I can't understand how George Perez's work I not hundreds of dollars. Only 3 of his comics of the 80's are in this category.
Sorry, not sure what you mean. Perez had three major works in the 80's and all three of them are on the list. Do you think I missed some?
