Awesome list! I think Kirkman’s description of Invincible sums it up great when he said “It’s a superhero comic that zigs whenever Norma superhero comics zag”
LOVE the list. I have never heard of a couple of these titles and now they are going to be bought! For me: Witchblade, Fade Out, Tokyo Ghost, Saga, Prophet, Paradiso and Maneaters.
Great list all my favorites are on there. Some that wasn't on your list that I would add are Spawn, The Darkness/Witchblade, Sunstone, Tokyo Ghost, and many more. That's what is great about Image Comics, you get so many creative and original stories instead of just superhero stories.
Great video topic! Would love to see your top 10 IDW and Boom choices! Love Image, but haven’t loved everything I’ve read. My favorites were East of West, Invincible, Wicked + Divine, Phonogram, Alex + Ada, AD After Death and Sexcastle. Patrícia Ferreira fear agent is beautiful and horribly underrated, I always call it a dark horse book because I have it collected in the 2 library editions.
My Top 10 image comics; 1. Saga 2. Chew 3. Kill or to be killed 4. Deadly class 5. Sunstone 6. Tokyo Ghost 7. Revival 8. Nailbiter 9. Criminal 10. Southern Bastards

Thanks for the video. I found this list very interesting, I'm looking for new titles to read and this is the list I'm going to use. Thanks again & keep up the great work Omar!
Great list Omar. I agree with a number of those and can't speak on some either since I haven't gotten to read or budget constraints have prevented me from collecting the series. Lazarus will always be my number one and it's interesting how you compared the families to the mob. I always felt it was more about those that have the most money having all the power. Deadly Class was one of those books that I bought as a recommend. I'd see it at my lcs but never gave it a second thought till I read a little bit about the background. I read the first trade and was hooked. I want to read Invincible and Chew but those are a lot of books to buy and need to jump on reading Descender and I Hate Fairyland. In fact I have a lot of Image books I need to get on. Velvet is my favorite of the Brubaker books. Reading it I felt like I was watching those Sean Connery era James Bond movies.
A top ten of Image comics on hump day ! I love it man . As much I love my Conan and Batman comics its just something about the stories that Image offers that pulls you in completely. Thanks for this Omar !
Just read God Country this past Saturday it was exactly as you described. Can't wait to check out your ORNR review of it when I have more time. Saga is also very good too need to get Book 3 to get caught up on that series.
HAHAHA, no rivalry. We actually joked about that when we shot our collab episode yesterday. We had no idea we were doing the same episode on the same day. Just two guys trying to put out daily content with all these things of uncertainty in the air.
A must that I purchase the Deadly Class comics this far, due to the live action adaptation, unfortunately being cancelled. I have to find out what happened after that cliff hanger of the season 1 finale. The show is what got me digging.
Good list! Mine in no particular order: East of West, Deadly Class, Moonshine by Azzarello and Risso, Low by Remender and Toccini, God Country, Starlight by Millar and Goran Parlov, Gear by Doug Tennapel, Jupiter’s Legacy by Millar and Quitely.
Great list Omar I’m gonna have to pick up a couple of those hard covers like killing giant. I have glory as well I picked it up on a whim haven’t started it yet but I don’t know what it is something about they are just caught me I knew nothing of the title but now I’m definitely going to read it.

I can only find them in German and I cant seem to find book 3 without taking out a second mortgage and its killing me cause it's the one book I'm missing besides any additional after book 10😭
I was wondering if you were going to do this! This is awesome! I'd love to see a best of Dark Horse or IDW/Boom/Oni! My 10 choices for Image's books would be... Nightly News, Pencil Head, Peter Panzerfaust, Ron Marz's Top Cow Universe saga, Spawn, I Kill Giants, Walking Dead, Motor Crush, Family Tree (I don't care if it's early on in publication! It's freakin' great!) and my favorite series of all time: The Maxx.

Lmao you and Gem Mint think alike I see Great list, shoutout East of West! Waiting for that year 3 Kill or be killed was also really great, but i thought it didn't quite stick the landing. A top 10 Brubaker/Phillips list would be dope Omar!
Hey Omar, just finished the glory comic book and I gotta say, it was one of the best books I have read and wanted to thank you for the recommendation! I hope they continue Glory's adventure with her family. Do you think Robb will continue the story?
Deadly Class is not only one of my favourite ongoing series, but it's also easily my favourite series of Rick Remender's that I've ever read. I'm still holding out hope that Image will reprint the 1st and 2nd deluxe edition hardcovers at some point in the foreseeable future, as well as produce a 3rd and possibly 4th volume. However, with that being said, from what Rick's said on his Twitter it doesn't seem likely as they cost quite a bit to manufacture and produce. 😕 😑
Gotta a five props to one I don’t see a lot of people talking about. I Hate Fairyland is hysterical. Skottie Young took a nice little fairytale about a girl going to a magical kingdom & completely destroys it with gratuitous violence. It’s only 20 issues but it will leave you in stitches all the way through.
Awesome list! I think Kirkman’s description of Invincible sums it up great when he said “It’s a superhero comic that zigs whenever Norma superhero comics zag”

What's your opinion on monstress ?
Literally just did a review last night of the first HC.
Love your videos. You help me choose comics for buy. I am from Russia, and you give me good info for orders.
Awesome! Thank you!
My top ten image comics would be: Bully Wars, I Hate Fairyland, Snotgirl, Chew, Todd, The Ugliest Kid on Earth, The Weatherman, God Hates Astronauts, Ice Cream Man, Elephantmen, and Copperhead.
I'm a big fan of Copperhead, Weatherman and Ice Cream Man.
@@NearMintCondition Really? Sweet! High five for good taste. Such entertaining comics.
Omar, could you possibly do an overview or review of the Glory book? I'm a huge fan of Sophie Campbell and would like to see inside, is this pre-TMNT work?
You got it.
Definitely do a Brubaker/Phillips video!
Lmao you and Gem Mint think alike I see
Great list, shoutout East of West! Waiting for that year 3
Kill or be killed was also really great, but i thought it didn't quite stick the landing.
A top 10 Brubaker/Phillips list would be dope Omar!
HAHAHA We actually joked about that when we shot our collab episode yesterday. We had no idea we were doing the same episode on the same day.
Hey Omar, do you know if we will get a reprint of East of West the apocalypse year two HC? It is out of stock everywhere...
Hey Omar, just finished the glory comic book and I gotta say, it was one of the best books I have read and wanted to thank you for the recommendation!
I hope they continue Glory's adventure with her family. Do you think Robb will continue the story?
Glad you enjoyed it! Seriously sometimes I worry about my suggestions. :) I hope one day they will all come back to continue the story.
What edition was your deadly class? It almost looked like an omni
That's the deluxe edition.
Great list!
Glad you enjoyed it
My favourite Image Books:
1. Murder Falcon
2. Tokyo Ghost
3. Undiscovered Country
4. Lazarus
5. Low
love this list.
@@NearMintCondition I have The Divine + The Wicked being delivered wednesday. I can't wait to read it.
I really thought that book gets highly praised. Which is why I mentioned the underdog. Middle west. I like I hate Fairyland lots though.
