Jordan is my favorite angling instructor. Always an in-depth explanation and visual example of the lesson. Hat tip to the camera and edit crew, as well.
@@machewbacca I don't know if he guides. I think that he is independently wealthy, and probably doesn't need to. Every time I see him, he has a new $400 rig. Probably able to feed his dog imported Dong Tao chicken and Kinmemai rice. Either way, his passion, knowledge, and communication of the sport are invaluable.
Great vid would love to see u start incorporating clips where u actually catch fish using the techniques you demonstrate. Even if u have to edit a clip in from another day itd be a great credibility addition to the video especially for first time viewers of your channel! Fish on!!
I use a very similar presentation when fishing for Smallmouth Bass. Slightly different bait, very similar action/motion. I was Jig fishing on the Willamette River, in Salem, OR for Smallmouth Bass when , what I believe to be a Coho, as I saw the fish when it grabbed my jig, and started runnin ! I had a 6'6" Bass Spinnin Rod with 8 lb Test. I soon realized I was being outgunned by this aggressive fish as it started running downstream and peeling off my line. I started to try and get my drag tightened up and get some of my line back from that heavy, fast moving fish. As I started fumbling at my drag, that fish broke me off. I am now making some adjustments to the setup, and I am going to try to repeat what happened, intentionally, and hopefully without a breakoff. Sweet Vids, A.F.. Thanks for the great content.
I've been following your account for close to a year now. Recently I watched some older videos and you guys have really dialed it in filming these new videos. Thanks for your updates!
*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*
So I know this might be a stupid question but you use a 3500 series reel with 40 pound line? Sorry I’m still learning how to fish and I am looking to buy a reel
No one will probably see this as it's a year old video. But you guys need to realize most people don't have the money to have a pole, real, and line for every kind of fishing. Love the videos, but I have to make do with what i have.
Bro he literally said this is what he likes to use, but hes seen people using even an ugly stick. Just keep it under 8'6". Listen to specs on rod and match your budget.

agreed, does he guide? Would love to do a day with the dude on a river going over various different techniques, he's a natural teacher.

Matthew Kim Yep! Hit him up on Facebook or IG. 168 Fishing Adventures
SilenceFriction 1 lol far from it. Jordan guides a ton.

Meyers Leonard actually a great idea!! I know just the way to do this.
I would like to see the Blazers win a championship but hey......😘

you speak kinda like ol bob Ross. in our world thats a high compliment. thanks, these have been helping my kids with the new older ways of fishing.
Streamer on a fly rod is my favorite. Sometimes an ultralight jig on a fly rod works well. Same general presentation. Works just as good.
Awesome video! Really helped me understand what you were explaining at the bash last week :)
Great tutorial, can’t wait to start twitchin’ Coho after hammering the Chinook in September!
Great video, very informative. Nice work Jordan!
Next level man, just started twitching a few weeks ago and wasn’t sure if I was doing it right or if I’m rigging it up right so thanks awesome vid!!
love the tips i finally tried twitching jigs this season after watching your guy’s videos and i caught limits the first time trying it
You are the best! Thanks for the tutorial
Looked for your guys jigs at cabelas today hope to see them soon
Awesome video! Keep up the hard work :)
Awesome info man... And quite timely for me. Ive just subscribed. Trying out the Niagara River for the first time this year.
Ps. Where are you guys based?
Issa Alsaadi Washington & Oregon
I like using a Quantum telescopic 6 1/2 foot medium with my okuma ceymar 2500, makes for very fun fights while twitching with some Dinger jigs
Love if you would offer a non barbed version, currently pinching due to regs, but hey doesn't hurt to put it out there!
I subbed, but dumb me forgot to ding that bell...ding..ding..lol😁
Hey just checking to see if twitching jigs in the lower Columbia would be effective from shore instead of casting spinners?
Excellent

What would you recommend for a twitching rod in a casting version?
Weird question what manufacturer is your boat?
Still waiting for my first coho twitching. Got one today drift fishing, tried jigs and spinners but nothing. Had pinks take the jigs though.
Can I use a bait caster as well for twitching jigs?
Do you ever add a trailer hook to your jigs to increase your landing ratio?
Knight ISA No but I bet it would work
Does this work way upriver ?? Aka past the snake
👍
Are you ready to go catch some fish on twitching jigs?!
Can you use a snap at the end of the bumper so it doesn’t get shorter as you change out gear?
No
You could but it’s better not to.
How to rig a twitching jig: tie it on your line. I've caught more snagged jigs that other people have lost than any other lures combined.
3/4 oz jigs? Seems a bit heavy. I like 3/8 tp 1/2 oz. great videos BTW.
Blktailhunter53 you’d be surprised. Try 3/4 oz and you’ll never go back.
I catch shinook using live mice
what kind of rod?
Guide Select Pro
Twitching = SNAGGING
WRONG

I'm fishy thanks my brother.
Good luck out there!
