Visited there about a month ago all the way from Alabama and the lighthouse is under renovation. 😫 Very cool views tho. Had to rewatch the movie to notice the areas we had been.
i loved this film as a kid in the 80s remember recording this on VHS taking to my friend's house! Tryed to show this to my ex but het didnt want to watch didn't like it and turned it off half way through!! :O(.... I should of known then ha ha !!....I'd love to visit America and visit all these places! At least us fans can see what its like now from videos like this!!.... Thank you so much!!
The Fog is one of my favorite movies of all time..this is an awesome video..hope I get to visit the filming locations myself someday! Awesome. Thank you!!
That is not Stinson Beach. That is Drakes beach . Stinson beach is south of Pt Reyes National Seashore. Enjoyed your video non the less. I use to volunteer at the lighthouse as a docent for the National Park system. So I get people asking about The Fog and I tell them the town Antonio Bay is actually Stinson Beach which is a beach town. Drakes Bay is all open space because it’s a National Park. Stinson has more of a curved while Drakes is more straight.!
Wow thanks. The Fog is one of the classic horror films that still frightens me.🌫️
@ Rebecca- I'm on my way to protect you 🤝💪🐻🤗

Imagine working in that lighthouse and forgetting something in your car.
Lol

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you.
Excellent research and video 👍🏻
nice video, dude....i love this movie!!!!
Love that movie, much better than the Mist (on a similar theme), and the Mist is already pretty good.
Oh I couldn’t say one is better than the other. Both are really good films, and both are tonally very different.

I wondered about the different shore lines.
Respect !!
Great video! how did you figure out the locations?
Location is right for the opening shot, but it's Point Reyes National Seashore, not Stinson Beach.
can you do one of these for that old 1979 horror movie "The Dark" staring William Devane and Cathy Lee Crosby?
Stevie Wayne's house now looks like an Orthodox church.
Based on Nordic Folklore
Question! Do people come visit the church because they are interested in churches or because of the movie? 🙂
