Oh man, the reasons why the x17 dies out of nowhere is due to the element 31 leaking out overtime. This is caused by the uneven pressure of the heatsink, causing an airgap of both the cpu and gpu. So the more you push the device, the higher the chances that the element 31 will leak out once pressure is built up inside the sealant on the cpu side and will cause a short and causing the death of your motherboard in the process. There's actual proof of beads of liquid metal upon the disassembly of the first x17 dated around Sept 5th 2021 under the channel "Dragon Factory".

@@RISINTECH so sorry to see yr x17 woes. i am one similar owner myself on replacement. btw, do you find the speakers crackling at certain notes? dell's been asking me to repair the speakers but i wonder if it will help, apart from spending time getting them replaced. if its a common issue, i might just leave it till next driver update
@@CKGOHSG is sad to say I don’t even have enough time to get full experience with my alienware x17… but I will keep in mind and let u know if there is any speaker problem but had far as I know there r lots of complaints. But for my case I barely use it cause I’m always on my headphone
@@RISINTECH no worries...i trust Dell got yr back....so far their customer service for such issues is quite top notch. unfortunately, QC is a big bummer for the x17s....
