tbh out of everything Ufotable have adapted Kara No Kyoukai for me is still their peak not in animation but in overall everything same could be said for Type Moon at least out of all series that have been adapted so far, Fate while more iconic i would say is not as good as Kara No Kyoukai from both the adaptation wise (so far beside Fate Zero all Fate adaptation by Ufotable been quite lackluster story wise compare to the source) and how good it is as story and character goes
Only the Type moon has good story, nah. Gyo was still the best anime adaptation of a Junji Ito manga up to date(maybe Uzumaki will challenge it). God Eater did hit emotional peaks (like episode 5), that hits the same as Rezero where Subaru gets frozen while holding Rem ending scene, or Demon Slayer S2 where everbody seems to die ending scene. And who did that cut to credits thing first? It is God Eater. To add to a point people who played GE ressurection uses the Lenka skin as the player character the most rather than the og game mc. You can put Demon Slayer in there too. Like its not a story masterpiece, but it does not mean its not good. The manga survived shonen jump and was not cancelled and even has the balls to end when it wanted to, it gets people emotionally invested in it (like Touken Ranbu is as visually appealing but the story comparison is like night and day)
@@Snzn_7 I am purely talking on Ufotable and all their work with Type Moon only Why would I mention any other people and works when it is unrelated You really misunderstood my comment huh And well Kara No Kyoukai is still their best overall adaptation from source material and in how good it is for me You even mention Gyo and Re Zero they are unrelated to both Ufotable and Type Moon
@@Snzn_7 gyo was extremely unfaithful to the manga and it hardly matched to what junji itou's Mangas had in them. Even deen's junji itou collection was better than than gyo imo. Despite it itself being not so good. Demon slayer has been criticized a lot after it gained popularity for having one dimensional characters and a very generic plot line. Which is where the "demon slayer got carried by animation" statement arrised. And god eater atleast to me seemed quite mediocre as someone who hasn't played the game but maybe it resonates better with people who are familiar with it
Well, talking about budget, no matter if you give an artist 100$ or 1000$, there's a limit to how much and how good he can draw in a limited amount of time.
As much people would like to hush about God Eater, I still find it better than Zestiria overall. (Though Ufotable probably stayed quite a bit too safe with Zestiria and Touken Ranbu since they tried to do a new ambitious art and animation style with God Eater.) Also remember the Rezero Subaru frozen decapitation while holding Rem's mangled corpse fade to credit scene? Or DS S2 everybody seemingly will die by Gyutaro's final bloody explosion then fade to credits. God Eater did that amazing cliffhanger first. Also as much as Zestiria or Katsugeki Touken Ranbu, Zestiria is still like the most popular Tales anime out there, Katsugeki rivals Touken Ranbu Hanamaru and its funny since Katsugeki is the spinoff and Hanamaru is more the mainline Touken Ranbu story.
They also did the jump festa pilot episode for Toriko. Toriko was almost Ufotable's shonen series lol. Like looking comparing Toie's Toriko adapation to that pilot is like Deen Fate pailing in comparison to Ufotable Fate. And yeah Gyo was still the better Junji Ito manga adaption than the Junji Ito collection anime. Katsugeki Touken Ranbu while being "the spinoff" is more enjoyable to me than Hanamaru which is the the "actual mainline" Touken Ranbu anime. I think Ufotable has a track record of one upping other studios when working on the same ip universe lol.
UFOTABLE is not just quality over quantity. it's "justified quality" Unlike other studios that pump out trash with amazing quality, UFOTABLE knows exactly where to spend its Unlimited Budget, this mismanagement of budget has affected studios like MADHOUSE, but now MAPPA has learned its lesson. Goat animation doesn't matter without a good and entertaining story.
you know Fate 2006 by DEEN works in its way :) Fate route is like the most generic anime possible. Boy meets girl, gets inovlved in magical warfare, slowly builds up his harem ;3 encounters new enemies in each chapter, saves the world. DEEN emphasised it, by making animation close to most 2003-2006 anime ;) The fact Fate 2006 looks like most generic anime possible makes complexity of others even better :D
Not even fate zero could top the best work of ufotable which is Kara no kyoukai, that shit was a banger and is undoubtedly the best series ufotable has done. People are seriously sleeping on it.
People just categorize it as just bad. But only real gripe with it is that it tried to mish mash storylines from the 3 routes. Imo it should just stick with adapting the fate route faithfully. Like I think people could get pass the animation style since that's just how anime looked in the early 2000s anyway if the Deen Stay Night at least gave people the real dral Fate route adaptation. Sadly it didn't. Example for this is FGO first order. It is luck luster in the animation department compared to a "Fate" anime standard, but no one asuch complain about it asuch as woth Deen's beacuse at least it told the FGO chapter 1 decently and faithfully. The Deen UBW was kinda passable for fans for the same reason for a time before of cpurse the UFOtable UBW. Because at least it is UBW overall just in a highly condensed version of it. Like heck some people prefer the Shirou Vs. Gilgamesh fight in the Deen movie than Ufotable's.

I do agree that the animation for season two of demon slayer was great, I was more focused on the writing and story than the action. The action was awesome but I’ve honestly forgotten some of the battles, not because I think it’s bad but what was happening didn’t really shock me at all. And the entire battle lasted for like 10 episodes and I got to a certain point that I just didn’t care about the story. Like when Rudy’s first met the dragon God, or when or what happened to asuka at the end of evangelion. Those scene literally shocked me and it happened quickly that I still remember them to this day. I’m already slowly forgetting all the fight scenes in demon slayer because the demons and heroes motivation just feels basic and sometimes stupid honestly. Mostly the demons motivations for killing people are stupid.
animation doesnt carry the anime... But the whole production itself.. There are other anime's with godly animation..but did not get popular cause of its trash production.. DS has one of the best production in anime. I actually watched demon slayer mainly cause of the music..its too good..

The animation styles is what makes Demon Slayer a great anime, it's not the story, neither the characters, it's the animation style. @@catlike9444 Yeah I completely agree. Demon Slayer would fail if it was bad at telling a story. But I would try to be carful not to say the inverse either. i am subscribing that was very good and his voice makes me fell like time has stopped and every thing he has a good opinion and fell for anime
tbh out of everything Ufotable have adapted Kara No Kyoukai for me is still their peak
not in animation but in overall everything
same could be said for Type Moon at least out of all series that have been adapted so far, Fate while more iconic i would say is not as good as Kara No Kyoukai from both the adaptation wise (so far beside Fate Zero all Fate adaptation by Ufotable been quite lackluster story wise compare to the source) and how good it is as story and character goes
The manga survived shonen jump and was not cancelled and even has the balls to end when it wanted to, it gets people emotionally invested in it (like Touken Ranbu is as visually appealing but the story comparison is like night and day)
@@Snzn_7 I am purely talking on Ufotable and all their work with Type Moon only
Why would I mention any other people and works when it is unrelated
You really misunderstood my comment huh
And well Kara No Kyoukai is still their best overall adaptation from source material and in how good it is for me
You even mention Gyo and Re Zero they are unrelated to both Ufotable and Type Moon
And god eater atleast to me seemed quite mediocre as someone who hasn't played the game but maybe it resonates better with people who are familiar with it
Waiting in line for ufotable to animate Berserk
In an alternative universe, Tokyo Ghoul was adapted by ufotable.
Well, talking about budget, no matter if you give an artist 100$ or 1000$, there's a limit to how much and how good he can draw in a limited amount of time.
I was actually rewatching Fate/Zero and also decided to restart watching Grand Order Absolute Babylonia as well.
you got a new sub
edit: and a fan
As much people would like to hush about God Eater,
I still find it better than Zestiria overall.
(Though Ufotable probably stayed quite a bit too safe with Zestiria and Touken Ranbu since they tried to do a new ambitious art and animation style with God Eater.)
Also remember the Rezero Subaru frozen decapitation while holding Rem's mangled corpse fade to credit scene?
Or DS S2 everybody seemingly will die by Gyutaro's final bloody explosion then fade to credits.
God Eater did that amazing cliffhanger first.
Also as much as Zestiria or Katsugeki Touken Ranbu,
Zestiria is still like the most popular Tales anime out there,
Katsugeki rivals Touken Ranbu Hanamaru and its funny since Katsugeki is the spinoff and Hanamaru is more the mainline Touken Ranbu story.
Imagine if ufotable made attack on titan. . .
Rumbling would look shit like blood in mugen train movie
This channel slept on
aye much love
I really enjoyed animation design of the characters
absolutely
@@AnimeCultureCorner yes I do agree with you Fam

While I was watching Tengan Vs Daki's onii Chan Fight scene in demon Slayer season 2, I quickly remind me fate series ..
my wish is for Ufotable to animate One punch man's Garou Arc.
“I began on Netflix” 😂😂😂 fuuuuuck I’m old if this is how y’all getting into anime

Lol, 11 seconds into the video and I’ve started watching Mushi-Shi for the first time
I Have 1 wish In Life, and That's Please Please Please let Ufotable animate solo leveling
that would be hype
your really right man
glad u agree g
I dream of a FATE route adaptation by UFO Table…
Nice NEVER TALK ABOUT THOSE "TAX'S"
Because they already paid back their taxes 🙄
I tried to get into the Fate series but I've never knew where to start
i recommend starting with fate:zero
@@AnimeCultureCorner cheers fella.
I've heard that it's a confusing timeline
Fate also somehow did "gyo" by junji itto😂😂
Great content
dude they put around 100k for a fucking episode i bet whole boruto and 7 deadly frames didint put that money altogether
Goat animation doesn't matter without a good and entertaining story.
you know Fate 2006 by DEEN works in its way :)
Fate route is like the most generic anime possible. Boy meets girl, gets inovlved in magical warfare, slowly builds up his harem ;3
encounters new enemies in each chapter, saves the world. DEEN emphasised it, by making animation close to most 2003-2006 anime ;)
The fact Fate 2006 looks like most generic anime possible
makes complexity of others even better :D
Not even fate zero could top the best work of ufotable which is Kara no kyoukai, that shit was a banger and is undoubtedly the best series ufotable has done. People are seriously sleeping on it.
I don’t think Deen/Stay Night was a perfect adaptation but it was quite enjoyable
Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works is my favorite from them so far.
Mine is heaven's feel.
Isnt it UFO-Table? They have a ufo in their logo
that’s the origin of the name, but the japanese pronunciation is pretty simply translated as ufotable… or, i mean you-fo-tuh-bull lol
@@AnimeCultureCorner I see
Man it is just perticall with 3d cgi and some 2D
Good vid,
its funny how the entire studio is carried by one person....yuichi terao, composite director and CGI
i know i may get a lot of hate for saying this but Fate/Stay Night is my favorite Fate anime,Yes the Studio Deen Anime you can call me every name in the book.
it takes a big man to say that. respect my trooper
@@AnimeCultureCorner Thank you by the way and yeah it does.
It's overhated honestly
My guy really going to ignore how bad God Eater was or how good Manabi Straight was?
lol
Manabi had too much drama, personally would have preferred a silly comedy with low stakes. But their production decisions were still interesting.
I see u haven’t seen Gyo (Tokyo Fish Attack) I botched out of the movie after seeing the CGI fish.
Where do they get their sources. Did all that character comes from their mind 🤔🤔
The sources are games and manga.
@@ArcueidBrunestudTypeVampire oh I see ☺️
Mine is a guy who just wants a normal life until the hitman of a mafia family…
Yes it's reborn!
Edit: yeah great point of there some anime studio's are mixed of good, bad, neat, fine, great, meh and awful!
Weren't Ufotable facing a lawsuit for tax evasion a while back or smth?
yeah lol
And they already pay their taxes back. This problem doesn't effect the studio as much as overworking staff like with others
I wish Ufotable would redo Tokyo Ghoul.
i'd watch that
If ufotable take on Tokyo Ghoul...
Just imagine the sales, the quality... The story and the underlying philosophy...
Tokyo ghoul might just replace Fullmetal Alchemist as the greatest anime ever made....
Then people will call it mind and carried. Because it's animated by ufotable.😅
But no seriously them working on tokyo ghoul will be godlike with the right time.
@@catlike9444 lol only people who truly can't appreciate a great Manga will call Tokyo Ghoul mid
Yeah if ufotable take it on...
I've got no doubt in my mind that it will be the greatest anime ever made...

One criticism, you called Fate/stay Night a Sequel to Zero, that is fundamentally false. Zero is a prequel to FSN. FSN came first, and Zero fleshed out the backstories of important characters.
I don't know why I think like this but ufotable best anime will be fate series it's so underrated because of the watch order if it's not because of that i damm sure it will surpass demon slayer in every category i enjoy both anime but i like fate better and no hate comments plz 😭
Ufotable is the only studio who isn’t maidenless
L + maidenless
Most started with toonami..
Ufotable 💕💕💕
You started at Netflix? How young are you?
Did you erase God Eater out of existence lol?
Ignoring the fact ufo fucked up on that anime 🤣
Ufo-table?
yes
TRUE
true
Ufotable ruined junji ito manga tho but it's in the past now they are one of the best👍
The only good thing about Ufotable is the CGI , VFX and the compositing , it's 2D animation actually sucks !
The animation styles is what makes Demon Slayer a great anime, it's not the story, neither the characters, it's the animation style.
That is no to say that It does not have a good story, but what elevates Demon Slayer to greatness is the animation there is no getting around it. The animation is just fucking orgasmic. And that's fine. Not trying to say that the story is bad, Just that what distinguishes demon slayer is the animation.
I would describe it as porn, you don't watch it for the story, but it's niece some story. I am probably exaggerating but I wanted to use my porn analogy.
The thing is through animation alone can't say an anime. Tales of zestira the x is an example and another big example is mad house redline. A movie with some of the best animation ever yet it flop and became one of the reasons mad house fell.
@@catlike9444 Yeah I completely agree.
Demon Slayer would fail if it was bad at telling a story.
But I would try to be carful not to say the inverse either. I don't think it's a problem that a Great Part of what makes Demon Slayer good is the animation.
Maybe not in anime but in other media there is a lot of this of visuals making a movie great (I haven't watch it to be fair but everyone is shiting Dune because it's only visual supposedly) yet a lot of people do consider the movie a great movie. You can say that anime is different but you can never prove that it isn't possible for anime that has amazing visual to be great just because of that. And if that happens why would that be a bad thing.
Yet to be fair I am just playing devils advocate here I agree with what you say, is just maybe I would word it differently just to be cautious.
