Karen Carpenter had one of the best voices ever! Thanks to Dexter & Noodles for mentioning their admiration for her.
Karen was a talent in her own world. No one can touch her.
Maybe because Karen had one of the all-time best female voices and Richard is a genius at creating musical arrangements?
When you hear Karen sing she stops you in your tracks and admire her one of a kind voice. She was also humble, gracious, caring and beautiful. Also a great drummer.
She had a very unique voice and they wrote great pop songs. Nuff said.
Voice of an Angel
When you have a band from a totally different genre and time showing their love for the Carpenters. It just goes to show you just how talented the Carpenters were. There is no other female vocalist alive today that can bring out the emotion in a song like Karen could.

Touring with someone unvaccinated was a huge problem for a chunk of time. Band, crew, anyone. A lot of extra hoops to go through or sometimes venues didn’t allow them. For the offspring it probably wasn’t worth losing gigs because someone in the touring party wasn’t vaccinated.

@@12trguitar it was only a huge problem because of the lies told. Vaccines stop the spread, the covid shot was just a flu shot and everyone was lied to. These clowns are probably sponsored by big Pharma. The fight they should have had was to protect people's freedoms.....instead they acted the scared little children they are.
I would hope that they will start making music like The Carpenters (or a thousand other bands) rather than continue with their ridicolous primitive punk .
