I had one of these, purchased in 1999. Instead of a candy-cane car it came with a car that was shaped like a snow bank that had trees and a see-saw on it. I can't find any set online that has this car in it. The car had two solid axles that were fixed to the car instead of bogies. The caboose was also solid green except for the snowy roof.
@@Whycantichangemyhandle. sorry for the late reply, but the reason I did that was because I left the batteries inside the Tender and they leaked destroying the connections. plus I was able to salvage the Tender body, Base, Box car, Track and Caboose.

I remember my mom got me one of these for Christmas back in 2000 from Big Lots along with a Railway Crossing Signal by Lemax!!
I have a train almost exactly like this one, purchased in 1992. It has a boxcar, and a flat-car with 2 people sawing a log.

Thank you for doing this video. It helped m set up my train.
Do you still have the instructions?!?!?
I only replaced the engine and tender from my new Bright Gold Rush Express at the time and I have to say the Santa land christmas train is awesome.
Why u replaced the locomotive and the tender?!

Can someone please tell me where the batteries go in this? I just bought a used one from goodwill
The Batteries go in the tender.
En el vagón del carbón están la pilas ,toca abrir
Interestingly, I have the same set! But the engine is red and has a shiny gold detail.
I don't think you got all the songs. Can you do a video of all the songs if you still have this?
How do you turn off the train horn?
Ya I have one and it really old
Where did you get the additional cars from?
What batterys You Need for these
The coal tender requires 6 C batteries. To put them in you would have to have a flathead screwdriver or a coin to open the latch.

Originally manufactured in 1997.
Since the Gold Rush Express was released a year before that in 1996 if memory serves right.
