NOTE: Large Cap Day Trader has since been outed as a paper trader. This just shows how careful you need to be in determining who to trust, who to give money to, etc.
Sorry Carmine for asking this. But I think you should understand why I will ask this. WHY you sell a course and have tons of hours in UA-cam (wich is a LOT of work behind every video) if you are profitable? Don't get me wrong please, try to understand, is a reasonable question. WHY? WHY if you can make 1k (or the amount you want) a day for example, why are you selling a course? Why putting all that effort if you can wake up in the morning, make a coffee and get your money from the markets. The worst thing is that I want to believe you, but this question ALWAYS comes to my mind when someone is saying he is profitable but is selling a course etc. Hope you can answer. And i'm not trying to be mean or whatsoever.
@@Jatrade445 Because most likely (99.9%) he is a wanna-be trader, learned some of that juicy technical analysis terminology and doesn't really make any money actually trading. Great video. I haven't been able to make a video about day traders because it's incredibly hard to find the smoking guns to prove someone is a fake guru. I personally think most gurus make less than $50k (typical median salary in major city in US), if they're even profitable at all. I think it's why many immediately turn to selling a program. I think day traders are probably the hardest niche to evaluate if they're legit or not.
Always great KNAWLEDGE here 👌 Btw, IMO the biggest hurdle for succesful daytrading isn't anything technical, but it's psychological... Anyone can find or develop a decent/good strategy, even a noob. It's sticking to risk management rules (and others, like your daily loss or adding to losers etc) that trip most of us up (I know myself, LOL 😅)

Great video. One thing I have to say is the pattern day trader rule only applys to accounts that have margin trading turned on. Normal cash only accounts have no limits
That's one good reason for people to trade commodities, no pattern day trading rules and you can trade the Financials like the S&), DOW, Currencies, and more in the commodities markets.
One of the biggest lessons to learn or mental tools to have is to learn and risk. You have to know how much you are willing to lose before you sell. If your stock goes down $200, 500, 50% is it sell time?? Many traders talk about preservation of capital. If you are 20 so what, if you are older you know how long and hard it is to make a couple of bucks.
Definitely depends. The stigma is understandable due to the amount of bad gurus and scammers that popped up over the late 2010s. But a lot of YTers sell a course for legitimate intention to provide a valuable service. And it makes sense. Teaching others to trade doesn’t negatively affect their daily trading. It’s not the same as teaching business competition how to do what you do. So why would they not sell a service that just gives them even more money?
This honestly was really insightful. If I had known the red flags before paying my way into a community then I probably would be the same and hundred some dollars better off.
Love you man, wish I ran into your channel 2 years or a year ago, wouldn’t have been scared to begin with the confidence your videos give me, I love how you can simplify and give your inside thoughts and almost full opinion, love you brother your such a success

I don't think they are scams, but they are worthless for those who will become successful in this industry. Because a person that is dedicated enough to spend YEARS mastering this craft would have become successful no matter if they paid for a course or not, it would probably take longer without it but they would get there eventually. Also a course can not teach you real life market experience and screen time beats out any course no matter what and what works in the time the course was written might not work three, six, nine months down the line, markets change very often
1:00 Or trading is a game of probability, you never know wheather you will make or lose money today. So you want a consistent positive cash flow. That is why almost every trader in social media (wheather they are good or bad at trading) has a course. I know some pretty good traders who are also selling courses. But the bad ones don't have any real knowledge, or edge, so their courses are not worth it.
Hey Daniel (or anyone else who cares to explain), at 2:07 you mentioned it could become harder trading with larger amounts of capital. How large are we talking?
