Kevin does a fantastic job as an installer and instructor. Really appreciate the fact that he shows the types of connections and clips and how the disengage to remove and reinstall the parts. Bumper looks fantastic, I just got a 2022 frontier and this is the low profile factory type of look that I was searching for. I’ll most likely pull the trigger on it before the snow hits (cause that’s what gets me every year). Thanks for the great video.
Just installed this on my 2023 SV 4x4. I have the shutters in front of the radiator. Wasn't too bad just make sure you connect the wires back for the shutter system. Had a check engine light on for a few days till I checked the connections again. Had the wire on the actuator not clicked in all the way.
I really like that you don't have to trim off the bottom portion of the front fascia which seems to be required with the other winch bumper I've looked at. I'd much rather trim up those pieces that drop down from the inner fender. I honestly think you could do this install without taking off the front fascia at all.
Thank you for the feedback. Perhaps we’ll do that! You can find all the installed pictures on the product page: www.victory4x4.com/product/VF3FB-0.html
Looks like a winner! Easy enough install, but my only question is how does handle rock chips? I’ve had bumpers that rusted badly from all the rock chips.
How strong are the recovery tabs on the bumper? Would you be confident using them for recovery? Is there any way to bolt the factory recovery hooks back in place? Great video, great-looking product.
@@Victory4x4 Thanks for the reply. I really like your Molle bed panels for the Silverado. Seems better than BR because yours mounts on top and in the middle (theirs is middle mount only).
I wanted to see the complete finished job, but I'll live! Unless Kevin wants to install mine, I'll go with the factory install, I reckon. The main thing for any job is the proper tools/and the place to do the work! I have neither, anymore! Excellent video!!
Okay so I have watched this video several times to familiarize myself with everything as well as I have watched several videos from other vendors. This is the absolute cleanest install. I’m totally sold on the product but have one question. On a couple of other installs the installers pointed out that the winch solenoid housing mounted up against the crash sensor and required the sensor to be relocated. Is that not the case with this installation?
James, I think they were referring to the winch solenoid hitting the support bar that connects to the hood pop. We recommend a warn EVO winch for this bumper, fits great. Yes you can reach in to spin the winch clutch. If your hands are really big, you can also pop the hood and reach down to the winch.
So the only reason for removing the grill and front facia is to get to the clips for the bottom facia? If you don’t have the adaptive cruise control you don’t have to remove the front facia?
You would still need to follow the same steps whether you have the adaptive cruise control or not, the only difference would be that you'd disregard the sensor relocation portion of the video.
Which light bar, pods, and winch are you using in the video? I think a lot of people would just like to go with what you guys used since its guaranteed to look nice and fit well.
We generally use a few different lights/winches on all of builds. Baja Designs is a great option for both the light bar and pod lights, the Warn Zeon 10-S or Evo 10-S are also great winch options.

I like how he explains and does slow and careful work. He takes pride in doing a quality job. I love there is no cutting the body for this setup.

Kevin is the BEST.
Can you link us to winch and all lights used in this video?
Thank you!
Looks like a winner! Easy enough install, but my only question is how does handle rock chips? I’ve had bumpers that rusted badly from all the rock chips.
I had all of my bumpers Line-X Pro coated, zero rust or chips after three years in Alaska. Plus, it would make that bumper look even more badass!
You never showed where to reinstall the bracket (9:33) that was removed from the lower passenger side that held a wiring harness to the crash bar..
Is that truck rated for a 10k? Great video.
How strong are the recovery tabs on the bumper? Would you be confident using them for recovery? Is there any way to bolt the factory recovery hooks back in place? Great video, great-looking product.
The tabs are designed for recovery. They are tied into the full structure of the mounts and winch plate.
@@Victory4x4 good to know, thanks for the response.
I saw you have coil spacers on as well. Any noticeable drop in front suspension or brake dive with the added weight?
Greg,
Not so far. We do have plans to upgrade springs in the future.
@Victory4x4. Excellent how to video. Can you make a bumper like this for the 23-24 Chevy Silverado crew cab trail boss with the 2.7liter?
Maybe in the future, but we dont have any current plans for the Silverado.

Looks like all that protects the radiator or AC condenser is that thin piece of metal looks like if you bash it once it it will damage it
Lot of work just to put a new bumper on lol 😅 looks way better now tho 👍

Do you have camber bolts on the bottom control arms. I put a 2-1/2 lift on and my wheels lean out at the top
Any one know what brand and part number the LED fog lights and light bar they are installing in this video?
Nice 👍 will you be making a rear bumper for the nissan frontier as well to match 😊
Sandor, we have one really close to launch! Stay tuned.
Where can I buy the Bumper, can you give me the information?

Also on the lower right hand (drivers side) bumper there’s an opening near the winch. Can you reach the free spool clutch from that opening?

Can it be ordered without that silly logo obstructing the light?
We only offer our products as shown on our website.
Need this for 2nd gen!!
Awesome install video and looked straightforward.
Looks like it blocks air flow to the bottom of the radiator.
I love the look of this bumper, but it blocks a lot of airflow 😮
Good thing the radiator is located above the bumper.
Would this work for the SV 4x4? If I bring my truck to you would you do the install?
This should work on the SV model as well, feel free to shoot over an email to our support team any with installation questions.

Because everyone has a vehicle lift and/or a garage of that size to work in...
Is there a brand you would recommend for the light bar/ditch lights?
Jarrod,
Baja Designs makes the best lights and are built in the US.
Would this work in NAVARA 4x4 Asking for a friend?
No. I don’t believe it would.
Was there any issues with the adaptive cruise system afterwards?
Lucas,
We include a bracket to move the adaptive cruise, but it remains operational.
Where are you located and who did the lift was it local
Kevin, we are in Portage Mi. We installed the lift.
whats the amp draw on that winch?
Every winch is different. See specs from the winch manufacturer.
Is there a way to buy just the adaptive cruise control bracket?
That is not an item we currently offer by itself.
@@Victory4x4 That sucks. Thank you for replying. Hope it becomes available soon.

Requires a 10 mm socket. The project will never get done. 🙄
While I really appreciate this tutorial, I felt my desire to do this fade away about halfway through. Nice job though.
The CBI one is just as nice (nicer) and is cheaper...
Our price includes shipping.

good point!, Also this one has holes for cube lights, CBI uses that space for possible bull bar attachment that most people will not add IMO@@Falinzin

TX requires a front license plate, is there a way to mount one?
You can mount a front license plate using this kit.
