I go on solo dates all the time but my favorite day to do it is on my Birthday! I make myself breakfast and take as long as I want to get ready. Then I go out for some coffee, shopping, get my nails done and have whatever I want for lunch! A day of self love and fancy treats is what I need!

I will be on my own for my birthday this year. Some people think it is kinda sad but I actually think that it is really exciting!

I’m married with two kids and I love taking myself on solo dates! I like to grab a coffee, browse a bookstore, see a movie, or go on a nature walk. It’s nice to do whatever the eff I want to do for a change! And enjoy the quiet and my own thoughts ❤️
I've never taken myself on a date but I will after watching this. Self care is so important. Plus, you know that you'll get a second date 😁

As someone who's 27 and never been on a date...all I know is solo dates 🙏❤ so imporant to take the time to enjoy our own company.
Yessssss! I have a boyfriend but really do enjoy having "me-days" and going on solo-dates a lot. Depending on the mood I will go out for walks in the forest / nature or just stay at home pamper myself and watch a film that I am interested in without having to convince anyone haha or read a book. What I've never done is go on a vacation "with myself". next level?
I'm in a relationship and I take myself away every few years. 2016 was Japan, these year South East Asia. Go for it!

I started doing me-dates last year. First just a simple coffee and a nice cake in a caféand then I leveled up to hiking on my own (living in Austria) and Even going to the movies. The only thing that is really left on my to do list is a propper dinner date. Love from Salzburg

I love solo dates! I love going on a bicycle trip around my beautiful country. I listen to my favourite music, I enjoy the aloneliness and the views and I just feel super grateful for my life.

Taking myself for a massage is a real treat, but occasionally just getting myself a coffee and wandering through some shops is a lovely way to reset when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

Im married, but that doesn't mean that I don't go on alone dates. I like spending time alone, going to the movies...ufff it's kind of liberating. It's not that I dont like doing stuff with my husband, we do, but every now and again, we do enjoy alone time, and I feel refreshed. Mostly it's going to the movies. But I have also taken myself on walks, or maybe to lunch. Love your videos Estee...keeping it real. Yey ❤❤❤
I take myself on dates aaaaaalll the time ;) On Saturdays I love to go for a coffee in town, go to the market to buy fruit and veggies, read, lunch, wander around, shop,... i love a little me-time and time to slow down during the weekend because during the week I am always rushing.

I do most things on my own, as well as traveling. On a Saturday, I might take a 20 min subway to the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market, and have lunch. I sometimes go to a movie theater that has pretty good food and drinks that they serve to you at your seat.
I love taking myself on dates to bookstores and coffee shops! Just got back from a vacation in Oxford and London where I frequented many museums, cafes, and bookstores solo while my bf was at a work conference.
I go out with myself all the time and in my narrow-minded little city thats not a cool thing to say but I love taking myself out and having a little me time, wandering around, visiting new places and spending the money I make. just yesterday went to a book fair and bought 7 books, I HAD A BLAST

I love going on solo dates around central London. Eating at my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in China Town, popping at the National Gallery to have a look at my favourites paintings and then a bit of shopping around Covent Garden. Pure bliss ❤️

I love taking myself to the gallery or to the cinema, time alone is great for the soul! Love that you enjoyed taking the boat, i get it to work everyday, makes the morning commute bearable.
We just got back from a trip to London and Paris, and stayed at an airbnb right near the London Bridge, and it was amazing! We loved London SO much more than Paris, which surprised me. London is so clean, friendly, and so many great restaurants and things to do.
Lisa Ellis Paris is so overrated. London is really way better!

Love this solo date vlog! When my sons are in school I go have lunch with myself at a nice resteraunt.. one my sons don’t prefer lol and have a glass of wine then go check out Sephora and Target! It definitely makes me feel good for some “me” time! 🖤
I get the Thames clipper to work sometimes! But I sit outside because of the motion sickness 🙈 least stressful commute though!
I love going to a museum on my own. I seem to enjoy it more... I also usually will go to a cafe and treat myself to a lunch and fancy coffee or tea.
Solo dates are so much fun. I'm engaged but it doesn't solo dates away from me. When I lived in the city I would go to cafes, go shopping, go to a movie, find a new bar etc etc. Now I just moved to a new city, jobless atm, so i just walk everywhere, as long as I have my phone, keys and wallet on me. I'll walk anywhere.

I used to quite like going to the cinema on my own but i haven't done it in years, i have no problem with sitting on my own watching a movie beacuse you're not really supposed to be talking anyway! I also like taking myself for a glass of wine if I've been out shopping or have a treat myself moment and get my nails done. Love the idea of being a tourist in your own city, I need to try that sometime!

I usually start with a really good coffee as a treat, then reading or going to a bookstore. Then I go antique shopping. Special lunch. Then the theater for a movie. Go home cook some dinner. Probably crochet & Netflix/UA-cam. And a bath. Perfect solo date.

I hope Reggie’s doing ok ❤️ my dog Maggie just turned 14. She’s been in my family since I was 8, but her health has taken a quick downturn the past month or so for a multitude of reasons we have to put her down next week. It’s hard to fathom and I can’t imagine my family without her. But our doggos love us so much and know that we love them - whatever happens with Reggie, you and Aslan have given him so much love and a home that he wouldn’t have had without you!

I do not do solo dates every week but when I do I like to go on coffee all by myself and take a walk just to clear my mind. That is my way of taking care of my mental health.
I have learnt over the years that taking myself out for my own enjoyment is really quite nice. I am such an introvert (anxiety, panic attacks,ptsd) that if I don’t make a conscious effort, then I live within the four walls of my home. So this week’s outing was to the cinema to see Mystify about my RockGod Michael Hutchence. It was really emotional for me, and I was glad to be able to watch it on my own and not be pressured into not crying etc. Highly recommended activity. Hugs to you Estee x

Yes I take myself on dates around an exhibition, or to see a film, every few weeks as it helps to re-fuel my creativity. I must try that boat trip on the Thames!

I go on solo dates all the time! I prefer being by myself so that way I won't have to compromise on anything with anyone. The biggest dates I take myself on are solo trips to the UK. I try to go once every couple of years and I absolutely love it. I love walking around London on my own and just doing anything I want to do and anything that catches my fancy.
We did that several times to get around on our trip there for 3 days 🤟🇨🇦 we all need encouragement to take ourselves out, thx for sharing

I like to just go for a walk in the city (I used to live in London actually, and I especially loved walking in Shoreditch or Hampstead Heath, depending on my mood), or read a book and have a little pamper-session; love a good facemask. Btw that boat-"bus" is really cool, I'll definitely do that next time I'm in London!
I go shopping coz it hones my shopping skills. Lol. But seriously, when I'm alone, it's shopping time!
omg! I am all about a water taxi -- next time you're in New York, check out the one that goes from Dumbo to Wall St! It's three minutes and personally my favorite way to get to Brooklyn and back.
This really inspires me to be okay with being alone. I struggle so much with this. When I am alone for entire days I panic and sometimes spiral until I just feel so sad. I would love to practice healthy habits like this where I can be satisfied with such a lovely day (like this) despite being alone. Thanks for sharing

The best solo dates are always being a tourist in your own city 🥰 I love venturing out to smaller, lesser known museums, cafes, and parks, especially if they are way outside of my usual neighborhoods. Novelty and exploration is so important for the spirit! I also think it’s fun to go to the movies by myself, because I rarely go to the movie theater.

Hi Estée! Loved this video. It's so important to remember to take out time just to yourself and also to spend some time with yourself doing stuff; not just when you're alone waiting for others, or going to bed, or on the train. The past half a year I traveled New Zealand on my own - and it was great! I met the nicest peeps, made friends for life (actually going to England to visit my bestie in a couple of weeks haha) and generally ended up spending less time alone than with new friends. But. I did have moments when we would travel separate ways where I would spend a day or two on my own. I took myself for a delish pad thai in Queenstown, went OP shopping, visited a Maori museum, went trekking, took my diary to the beach and had a little bit of a zen moment... and it was GREAT. So here's to self-love, prioritizing yourself, you don't need no (wo)man to make you happy. Thanks again for this vid. Cheers xx

I love this! I think solo dating is such a good idea. We definitely need time on our own to decompress and center ourselves. Plus, you can do whatever you want to without thinking about someone else and making them happy!
