And I'm going to hazard a guess as someone... well, just someone, that this outpouring of worry a lot of people are expressing in the comments might make you feel guilty for being quiet for a while. That's what it would do to me.
So just in case: I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say we don't hold it against you, and it would be daft to do so. I know stating that won't make feelings like that magically disappear, but if you are indeed feeling that I hope it helps at least a little.

I have nightmares every time I sleep, but often times I don't even reach that point. TL;DR: Goodbye Gemo. Thank you for all the fond memories, and I hope whatever chapter of your life you’re in is a good one.
Ever since I got into the SCP foundation wiki to begin with, I found myself watching quite literally all of your videos, or at least as many as physically possible. For the longest time, you were actually the _only_ SCPTuber I watched, and there was a period where I just refused to watch other SCP content creators. While your content wasn’t editing-intensive or particularly high effort, your voice acting, line delivery, and mic quality more than made up for it. To this day, I still consider you one of, if not, the best SCP reading content creator.
Your “Things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do” video is, to this day, one of my favorite videos on UA-cam, and it’s actually the reason I made this account to begin with. And now, the recognizability of my username combined with my heavy comment load has gotten me to nearly 2-and-a-half thousand subscribers; something that, if I were told would happen just a year ago, I wouldn’t believe. I wouldn’t be in this relatively privileged position without you, as strange as that may sound.
As I understand it, both COVID and the death of one of your family members (Do pardon me not remembering which one it was) have impacted you heavily both mentally and emotionally, which, combined with your financial situation not being the best and therefore getting job applications, made this an altogether inevitable outcome.
And, to be honest, I think it’s both necessary and good that you’re pulling away from content creation for the foreseeable future. Part of enjoying something in a healthy way is to let go of it while it’s still good. You frankly need an indefinite break after all that, to recover and work through your issues. Even if you never come back. I truly hope you’re okay, and wish nothing less than the absolute best for you.
Thank you for all the good times: The laughs, the tears, the claps, the cheers, the joy, the fear. The hours upon hours of just sitting or laying down and watching your videos seemingly endlessly are still some of the best nostalgic memories I have.
