Hey Steve! Thank you for watching our video on the 49 Chevy. It certainly could be a 50, but the clean Indiana title and all old service records list it as a 1949.
'49 and '50s are almost virtually alike, but this one is clearly a '49. Do yourself a favor and Google image both of them and see the slight difference in the front grill. The '50 doesn't have those 7 vertical bars below the center horizontal grill bar. The '50 just has two vertical bars (with 3 little blue detents) coming straight down below the parking lights. There's also a slight difference in the hood emblem badge. Also, the trunk handle on the '50 is a 1-piece die-cast arrangement that's part of the rear deck ornament, whereas the '49 has a separate "t" shaped handle and he ornament badge above it. Otherwise, these two years are almost identical.
