- Today we sat down with UA-camrs, podcast hosts, authors, recording artists, and social media sensations, Jess and Gabriel Conte! With a collective social media following of over 15 million, Jess and Gabe have definitely made a name for themselves, but what we love most about this couple is their authenticity, openness about the hard seasons they’ve walked through and their love for one another after 7 years of marriage. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we loved this couple!
Love you guys!
Shawn and Andrew

I love how Gabe talked about how the Bible, especially Psalm, helping him out. That is totally what I have to do when I feel myself going down a spiral.
2 of my absolute favorite social media couples!! Glad y’all got together 😁💙
Just to clarify a potential misunderstanding - Islam does encourage men to be highly masculine in the sense that they should be leaders and provide for their families etc, but it does also command them to be gentle and kind (especially to their families). People like Andrew Tate are giving this notion that Islam teaches men to just be highly stoic and emotionally unavailable, which is not the case at all. Islam actually heavily emphasizes on gentleness, kindness, and patience.
Thank you!!!
to add, we also believe in Jesus as a messenger of God in Islam :)
Most conflicts in modern society has Muslim involvement. Christianity is soft and Muslims want to take over. There is a very big difference in religion’s.
Thank you for clarifying that. Islam is a beautiful religion.
This is my all time favorite episode. It was deep and rich and full of God’s goodness!!!!
Thank you for saying all of that about depression Gabriel! That’s exactly how it is and it’s so hard. Thanks for always being open about your struggles. God bless you and Jess! I really enjoyed this episode!
Yessss! The best couples on youtube!! Love this!
YES! This is such a good crossover. Love it!
This was a great podcast. It's so refreshing to see young couples speak about their faith and be honest and open about life trails.
This is so good! Thank you!!
I was wondering how this was only released 3 days ago but J&G talked about their podcast just launching and now they announced it’s ending but then when Gabe said he was turning 29 next month that means this was probably filmed in September so I was like ohh that makes more sense!!
I was confused too😂
Loved this! ❤
Love love love this episode! ❤

Loved this podcast and the thought out questions and answers. Love both of you!!!!
It was so encouraging to hear you both share about your faith. I’ve been able to tell that both of your channels and families are built around Christ but it was so encouraging and enjoyable to hear you talk about it a bit more! Thanks so much, hope to see even more of this ❤
What an encouraging episode! Love hearing all that God is doing in your lives! ❤
I loved your conversation about your faith! I have felt the goodness of God’s love listening to this! I would love a full episode on your faith!
Shawn, you look absolutely AMAZING! You are radiating!!!

Two of my favs in one! ❤
Great podcast! Loved hearing how you’re relying on God through life ❤
"a gift that God gave me to keep me reliant on him" WOW powerful!
I have waited forever for this one … just started but wooohooo 🎉
Ok just finished and I was a little apprehensive as your lead in Andrew was a little lacklustre … only coz I think u guys should be friends …. lol never met any of you but love you both - but loved it 🥰
This was to me, a ‘glimpse of “… Thy kingdom come… “!’ ✨✨✨✨
Ok after 1am and just finished because I couldn’t stop watching😂❤️
Appreciate Gabe speaking on depression and how God used it keep him close to Him and having Jess was his biggest blessing 😇🙏🏽
So lovely✨
What I have learned about my depression is that Satan tears me down & as soon as I realize that drop to knees & praise God or turn on some Christian music. Then I’m able to snap out of it, even stop Satan from continuing. I’ve been so blessed since then. ❤
I’m just so happy for you all 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I’ve been waiting YEARS for the
Wow. This was so good. Especially where Gabe opened up about his struggle. Peace. My word for this year. I found it’s the person of Jesus Christ. When I struggled, I would go to Him like David in the Psalms and lay my burdens down and He would be my peace that surpasses all understanding.
I also loved the part about the 3yr old girl. We have one and it’s the best!(: You guys are awesome.
Also the To know is to love is an awesome marriage advice. Never heard it before, until today. I’m glad J found your channel (through shorts if you guys making me laugh hilariously and loving how real you are in a time I sure needed the laugh. 😉
My two worlds have collided!!!
This was soo good, and so sweet! Please share the name of the book you both mentioned when talking about sabbath
The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer.
I think with regards to faith, there's a certain amount of limitation that the East family and FMM puts on discussions of faith and I think that's totally appropriate. Because the entire purpose of FMM is to encourage family, to spread family values, and to encourage people to have families and create resources for families. That's somewhat aligned but not strictly religious.
Go gabe!!! Protect your kid!!!
Have yall said who the winners of the giveaway was yet? Didn't want to miss it❤❤
Watching this after they announced they are stopping the so far so good podcast 😭 lol
can we see you and shawn interview the labrant family?
So sad that they stop so far so good😢❤
This episode made my night!
My two favorite couples in one video 😍 should be sleeping but I can’t hahah have to watch it to the end ❤️
But they just shared that they aren't going to do podcasts anymore. Was this interview done recently?
Jess and Gabriel literally just did a podcast talking about the exact same topic.
So random but when you spoke about the Minno app you said something about a blacklist of videos or channels you don’t let your kids watch. Can you share more about this? I have a 4 year old and want to protect her from shows that don’t edify.
GREAT podcast. Never seen your channel before. Ever consider Chad & Tori Masters?
What are the titles of both of those books named?
the ruthless elimination of hurry I think is the one you might be talking about
God has a name and the ruthlessness elimination of hurry both by john mark comer
Gabe looks SO young with no facial hair
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Lol at the lack of response from Shawn and Andrew after Gabe’s touching story. It’s very sad to see Christians not speak boldly in favor of Christ publicly.
Bauer is German
I know this is my millennial-ness but dangly earrings on men is not doin it for me.
That's a gross view
**Special request**
Hi people, this is Anna-Maria, a 25 year old Christian woman from Germany who just graduated from midwifery school. I'm coming here with a rather odd request but I'm looking for someone that I can learn from, like a married couple that is just a few steps ahead of me in life as I believe that there is so much to learn from them. My vision is that I can stay with them for a few weeks and just do life with them (e.g. help cooking, cleaning etc.) and also help/volunteer in a church community. I'm really passionate about the topics that Jess and Gabriel, Milena and Jordan and Tori and Chad are talking about recently, which is about being really intentional about how we spend our time and to focus on what really matters in life and how we can serve others and bring glory to God. I would like to dig deeper and learn from people who share similar values (but don't worry, my expectations are not too high, so the people don't have to be perfect on everything and just in case you're wondering, I'm also not coming to experience special adventures or anything expensive :)). I'm actually flying to Florida at the end of next week to visit a friend for some days but after that I don't have a place to go and I'm praying for that. So if anybody knows someone who would like to pour wisdom into a young woman, just let me know. I'm going to Florida/Tampa, so it would be cool if I find someone that lives near to that but I'm also open to go anywhere else. Just let me know in the comments and thank you again :)
