    Thank you for saying it - it's the story, the life of the car, what it's been through, that makes this so interesting. They were all brand new once, it's what happened after that, that makes them each unique. Thanks to everyone involved for sharing these ~ Chuck

    MCACN is a bucket list for me. the Z06 didn't automatically come with the big tank, but often did. The convertible could get the Z06 package, but not the tank

    My best friend’s dad when I was in grade school was an Eastern Airlines Pilot and he had a red split window corvette. When the dad and the I’m picked him. Up inscholl he would crawl into the back platform that didn’t have a seat and wave at us. Sooooo cool.

      @ Dude, he was an instigator and so cool. Since he had a go kart, I convinced my dad tog get me a go kart. Then he had a mini bike, so I convinced my dad to get me a mini bike, he had a drum set, so I convinced my dad to get me a drum set. The deal was that he was smart in school but quiet and lazy. I was smarter and they skipped me a grade, and I was not quiet. I swear had all A’s, and had a D- in conduct because I wouldn’t shut my mouth and talked, made jokes, and pranks and talked in class. This was all between 3rd and 4th grade. I discovered early that as long as I had good grades my dad would reward me handsomely, and he always did. Thanks for your response. You have brought back a ton of great memories 😎😀😀

    I am waiting for a video of dozens of UA-cam content competitors to be in a huge melee over getting in each other’s way while trying to g to get footage without people in the shot. Ryan is great. Was doing photo albums on Moparts before the age of UA-cam.

    I just hope the "Dollar Gobbler" was the car itself and not Shari. LMAO!

    Barnfinds make me cry ! Restore them !!!!!

    • @hemmingsmotornews
      @hemmingsmotornews  Місяць тому +1

      That is actually the plan for most of these cars. They get displayed in the barn find section when found, then a few years later they make it onto the show floor, fully restored.

    • @sublime929
      @sublime929 Місяць тому +2

      Absolutely not. There are plenty of perfectly restored (boring) cars out there. These cars tell a story, each bump and bruise should stay. Just make them mechanically sound and preserve them as is.
