Thank you. Yes I sometimes use that saying as it’s a lovely way of remembering but it does only work with the Epi pen - it doesn’t work with the Jext or Emerade. So I try and teach - look for the end where the needle is !
Thank you for the feedback. Here in the uk all Epi pens can be held for only 3 seconds. They used to be 10 seconds. However due to the fact that all three pens have different times we always encourage to hold them all for 10 seconds.
Atully u can reuse them find something sharp and find the middle and carefully cut the out side and there a needle inside and push it half way done on the leg I learned that from a show I saw😊😮
Thankyou so much! I wanted to learn to use one because I babysit for a kid that has allergies and he has an epiPen. I have been babysitting him for a while and I didn’t even know how to use the epiPen and now I know! Thanks!
Please do a video on AQST and their drug, Libervant. This could revolutionize the way we handle emergencies, potentially replacing EpiPens. With their expected approval by the FDA on April 28th, their sublingual film, much like a Listerine strip, could be a game-changer. It's faster and more effective than traditional, bulky EpiPens and much easier to administer.
It all depends on which auto injector pen you use. The Epi pen is 3 seconds them erase is 5 and the Jext is 10. To avoid confusion it’s best just to hold them for 10 seconds - it won’t hurt them to hold it for longer but it can cause serious issues if you don’t hold it for long enough.
These epi pens are out of date and not used to demonstrate a life saving skill. Giving someone adrenaline is not going to gain muscle strength long term. There will only be a temporary gain as it sends more oxygen to the muscle .
In Canada they have a commercial Orange to the thigh Bule to the sky thats how they teach the kids

I live in Germany and my epipen must be held for 10 to 15 seconds .

Yes but I did ensure the safe disposal of the orange.
The hell is that hair
Lol.
She looks like she did a couple epi pens before this video
😂
Four? I have to wonder if one of them could have saved someone’s life.
They were all past their expiry date and therefore no use to anyone.
@@EMTFirstAidTraining i was hoping that was the case and u didnt waste a expensive epi pen on an orange 💀
Alright time to go buy 10 epipens and gain muscle strength in like my thigh or something

That's a waste of $2000

Very true - but the toughness
That’s just one
Ohh

Yes each pen has a different time but isn’t it just easier to remember one time for all of them as the jext is 10seconds emerade is 5 and epi pen 3
what the hell is your story??
Call of duty stim shot lmao
Nice just wasted like 1300$
These pens I used are out of dste and would have been disposed off with or without my demo
