Ambient Ride Aqueduct Bicycle Path May 2024

This is a pleasant ride along the Montreal Aqueduct Bicycle Path. The trip is about 8 KM. This path is in the process of being resurfaced. a few years back the conditions were so bad that most cyclists elected to travel with the cars on Champlain blvd. Not there have been a sequence of projects to remove the old vegetation, plant new plants and trees, and resurface the path. In many intersections work was done to make the bicycle crossing safer. The repaire work will continue this year and next. Once completed the majority of the trail will be new and smooth.
