Thanks for sharing, John. Looks like a cool broadhead. I'm just throwing out an idea for 2025. If you have a 3 pack, weigh them for consistency in quality control. You may have done this in the passed I don't remember. I've watched you for years. Thanks again for the video
Yeah, maybe I will do that for something new. I have done that in the past and it gets a little frustrating. Because I can move a Broadhead about a quarter inch on the scale and get a different weight. I really don’t think 99% of shooters are good enough to notice any variation and flight due to five or 10 grains either way. I shoot 100 grain, 125 grain at 150 grade interchangeably out to 40 yards.
If this review was done a while ago they've actually made the cut wider on the 125 and 150gr. I got the earlier version and it's only an inch. I've shot these through our fallow rut in April and rusa rut that just finished and they make an epic hole. Penetrate like no other 3 blade and NEVER break... They're incredible and for the price you can't go wrong
@@LuskArcheryAdventures I've been in this game awhile now. Still won't shoot mechanicals. It's been a hunt to find real quality heads. Some where it must have become the demand. I can't pick just one anymore. There are so many quality solid broadheads on the market now

With broadheads like this there is no reason to be buying the $30plus “premium heads. I bought a half dozen Alien Archery heads cause of your reviews just to play with. Shot a buck with one last year and it dropped him in 20 feet. There are many great affordable designs right now. Those Australians are making great affordable stuff right now!
Check out crimson talon broadheads, made in America and even less expensive. I used the 150gr 1.5" cut croc on 2 deer last year and was extremely impressed.
I also agree, Alien makes good stuff. I have killed 4 whitetail and one bear with the Matrix and the V2 heads. None went beyond eyesight and the heads were all decent shape after removing from the dirt.
I can't wait to get home to watch this video!!!! Just watched. That's a very nice head actuly. Very cool design and great durability. It's priced for the average consumer which is a plus. Thanks again for all youd do john. Best channel on UA-cam.
This broadhead is incredibly cool in design and wicked sharp for a single bevel with this blade thickness. Even though the overall length is longer than many, it's a small diameter for most of this length and therefore should not cause any significant deflection in flight. However, I would like to see a 1 1/4'' size. Maybe we'll see this in a future test. That rotation is going to be fantastic in splitting bone and causing additional destruction to tissue. I'm very impressed overall with this broadhead and I hope to see more in the future from this company
Thanks John i went to see the 3 blade in the terra firma shop and came out buying a dozen of the 2 blade single bevel too, which i Guess you are going to test.ij the future It looked so damn wicked and stout. Thanks for your job
Very Valkyrie’ish looking which is a proven design but doesn’t come in the lower grains so this head is a great option for the sub 150 grain crowd that likes that style head.
I just got a pack of these and i am very happy so far. Out of my longbow they fly the same as my field points at 20 yards and group well. Their venator 2 blade heads are really good as well and it would be great to see you test them to
Finally an "affordable" lighter version Valkyrie head. Always loved this shape for a three blade broadhead. I just wonder how hard it will be to sharpen them.
Really enjoy your reviews. I wish they made this head in a double bevel. I shoot light weight arrows so something like this is really interesting to me.
I’d like to see a weight variance in 2025. Does it make a huge difference in the filed ? Nope but it does show quality control and honesty from companies
It's very similar but with more options in grain weight. The single bevel actually allows for a more acute cutting edge as well. So while more difficult to sharpen - the end result is better.
I would use a rod sharpener. Use a sharpie to color the entire bevel of one of the blades. Then use that rod sharpener to stroke along the bevel. You know you will be on the bevel angle properly, when you see the sharpie begin to disappear. it takes a bit of time, but I find it kind of fun as a way to prep prep for hunting.
Glad you’re doing well buddy!! Hey , which Broadhead, fixed & mechanical , tested the highest and/or best since you’ve been doing this??? If there’s a video where I can find it, I’ll go look it up. Thanks John!!

@@mitchimal that's highly debatable. I have broke and smashed through scapulas and ball joints with double bevel broadheads for 30 years. great looking head and solid as a rock, sharpening it is gonna be a pain.
Yeah, it’s a bit of a challenge. But the good thing is they’re single bevel. So you only have to sharpen one side of the blade.

I think a tanto tip would be an improvement but this looks like a real penetrator, bone splitter for those tougher animals like elk and moose
Yep. It penetrated very well and that tip held up as well.
@@LuskArcheryAdventures I expected it to roll over. If it does I will just grind it down to a tanto sharpen and repeat😁
Finally an "affordable" lighter version Valkyrie head. Always loved this shape for a three blade broadhead. I just wonder how hard it will be to sharpen them.
I use a Dremel with ceramic grind and it's fast and easy
It won’t be super easy, but it also would not be super difficult. Because it’s single bevel, you just have to sharpen one side of each blade.
Really enjoy your reviews. I wish they made this head in a double bevel. I shoot light weight arrows so something like this is really interesting to me.
Dang, no 100gr'ers. Shipping cost is not too bad. If I decide to go to a 125 gr broadhead I think this one is at the top of the list.
They are making more models in the future.
I’d like to see a weight variance in 2025. Does it make a huge difference in the filed ? Nope but it does show quality control and honesty from companies
They’ve planned to make additional weights and dimensions in the near future.
That's a boss broadhead!
Right?
Very nice head
Yes indeed
Very impressive my only concern would be like you mentioned the sharpening aspect
Yep. But with it being single bevel, it is a lot easier than a double bevel. You only have to sharpen one side of each blade.
Looks like they took the Valkyrie design and put a single bevel on it. Not a bad idea.
Yep. Or you could say it’s a one piece Kayuga Trizot. Lots of learning from each other going on, which can be good.
Too small of a head for my needs. But I like the innovation.
Yeah, this one’s designed for deep penetration. Still a lot more cut than most two blade heads.
Honestly, their cheap enough that you can almost say the heck with resharpening them
That's a great part of this head. You can go either way. I stock them in the US by the way
Yep. Especially with my discount code for online sales. They really not very expensive compared to others.
Seems Australia is coming out with a lot of innovation in broadheads!!
Right? It's impressive.
Well thats all they have government took all there firearms
This head resembles shuttle t- lock shape
Yeah, some similarities.
That looks evil!! Looks similar to a Valkyrie broadhead.
Yep.
It's very similar but with more options in grain weight. The single bevel actually allows for a more acute cutting edge as well. So while more difficult to sharpen - the end result is better.
Impressive looking! Only issue like you stated is it's going to be a pain to sharpen
That's a big reason I stopped shooting the kudus, great head but super hard to effectively sharpen
Yeah. But at least it’s single bevel so you’ll only have to sharpen one side of each blade.
Kinda reminds me of a distance cousin to the Shuttle T-Lock head.
Yep
Something I’ve noticed about Australian BH’s, it seems they’re usually a smaller cutting diameter. Any reason as to why?
Smaller heads better suit the taking down of spiders and snakes. 😂
I'm pretty certain his is an earlier version. They're actually wider now. I have this exact head and got the new version which is wider.
They hunt a lot of tough hogs in the hills there. And they put a premium on penetration. Also for their water buffalo.
Hello gang, I’m curious how you guys sharpened these suckers? I just received some, they fly awesome, but weren’t super sharp out of the box.
That head looks insane!! But sharpening that is going to suck
A Dremel makes it very fast and easy.
It's definitely not the easiest. But for the price point - it's a great option
Yeah, it does look wicked cool. Sharpening can be a challenge, but at least it’s single bevel, so you only have to sharpen one side of each blade.
Impressive head. Sharpening will be a booger though
Yeah, it could be. But being a single bevel makes it a bit easier, as you just have to sharpen one side.

Why double bevel.. single bevel is far superior. Also the new version is that big. This is a pre release size
