sooo this one is easy.. option 3 for sure! not only the color is a perfect match to the green (they're both deep colors, maybe that's why), it also adds an interesting texture. maybe your prior ideas will shift a little but go with it! :) whatever you decide, i can't wait to see your design coming to life!
Agreed!!
Option 3 for sure! It’s a much more sturdy looking fabric, would look great on a headboard ♥️
Option 3 for the headboard
Definitely option 3!!! Not only is the color perfect, but the texture will be beautiful!!!
And your hair always looks great, Becky!! 👍💜
Opt 2 brightens it up! You can use the jute-like fabric on another upholstered piece in the room, or as a throw!
Options 3 is my favorite but 1 is my second. That room is going to look so good.
option 3 is very pretty. I can see the vision coming to life, so excited for the makeover!!! and I love your new haircut!!! you look gorgeous as always.
Option 3 seems the best look, tbh; warms up the look.
Imma be the odd one out and say hands down option 2 for the headboard… It’s warm and brings in the brightness that option 3 doesn’t have. I’m sure anything you choose will look amazing though! 💕
Option 3! It’s a great fabric to bring in those warm wood tones!
Option 2 looks so pretty and matches that airy vibe!
Option 2 is my pick. I think option 3 is very pretty, but it's dark. And with the walls being so dark, the added lightness would add some much needed brightness 🌞
I love option 2. Whichever you decide will look amazing!
Option 3/the last sample/the surprise favorite. The texture it adds is great. Sounds like it feels lux.
If not that then the cool toned option one
Hate the warm tone
Option 3. Love the warmth in it. Would look cozy with a basket and some chopped logs type of vibe. Also some earth tones n materials like stone lamp bases etc
option 3 for sure! love the texture and warmth
The warmer linen is my pick. It's got that coziness that the green needs. I have a color similar to the green you used in my bedroom and the cool toned linens don't look right (I also have lots of stained furniture and barnwood)
Def option 1! It by far looks like the most expensive/elevated fabric
Everyone needs to know about the ‘burrito’ technique, to put a duvet cover on!!
Flip the cover inside out, spread it out,
lay the comforter on top, then you can tie the corners. And start rolling from the top towards the bottom/ open end. The awkward part is flipping it in- reach into the opening at the bottom corner and tuck to flip right side out.
Once it’s all tucked- I find it easier to close the buttons/ties/ zipper first. Grab the bottom end of cover and the comforter inside and start shaking it out.
I vote for option 3. The texture and interest compared to the others is nice :)
Becky!!! Please paint the ceiling green also! It would look so luxe! I know you’re trying to lighten it up but I think it would make the room look so much bigger with a monotone wall and ceiling!!!
Option 3 because the texture adds contrast and interest plus it also looks so nice with the linen bedding. Hi from Australia ❤
I think option one will help convey a brighter look. The third one will make it more moody and dark- it depends the vibe you’re after!
definitely use both #1 and #3 in some capacity!!! whatever you don't use for the headboard, make a body pillow or throw pillow for the bed
I love option 2. I imagine layered white currents blowing in the open window, the cream and white bed, ahh like a relaxing forest retreat. I love 3 and I see your excited about it but to me I see beach.
Option 3 or 2. I like the warmth of these options. They are very different weights though so this will impact how you can use them ...and may influence which design you choose for restyling the headboard!
I really like option 2! I think the warmth and brightness of it will make the room feel that much cozier!
The voice on the wedding DIY video! Noticed and commented on that just yesterday hehe 😜 glad you did too! 💕
that linen that austin called burlap is so interesting because it looks like jute texture which is such a unique texture for a headboard. i'm liking #1 and #3 best! 1 is nice because it suits the cool green but i love how unique #3 is and the texture & warmth it brings to the green
DIED at “I just armour-alled the dash!!” 😂😂😂 he has a point! Lol
I mean this in the best way possible but Becky's hair and bangs look kinda like a great horned owl's little tufts. Honestly no shade, owls are awesome 🦉✨️
I feel like option 3 goes really good with the forest vibe. It looks soft too!! Love the wall color!!
Number 3 would look really good!
Option 3. Great texture and brings in nice warmth!!
I love #1 as it's a cooler toned fabric which works with the cooler green wall colour! 💚
I love the option number 2 as it stands out more... but option number 3 is also such a vibe...
I haaaaaaated option 3... until I saw it in that room with the natural lighting. Then it worked and looks gorgeous. I vote option 3!
I say option 2 personally because I thinks it warms up the room w/o coaching but 3 is good as well I like the natural element of it esp in a cabin
The 3rd option!!! Looks really nice texturally contrasting~
Absolutely loving the vibes you have going so far for the cottage! The checkered jute-looking fabric pairs so nicely with the green, but I personally wouldn't use it if you want to keep the ribbed texture on the headboard since it could go wonky. I can't wait to see how it comes together!
I actually preferred the darker options at the beginning that were put to the side, the brown and olive color, to me taht would be beautiful especially ribbed like the headboard already is would reflect the tree stumps to me and the wall is like the tree leaves
especially if you do lighter bedding, I originally thought 1 looked nice but looking at it in the light and next to the others it seems kind of cooler than I thought, option 2 was a definite no for me it’s too yellow, I’m not the biggest fan of the texture of 3, but the color is nice and has the most dimension and you seem to love that one most
I think keeping the ribbed design but doing an additional border headboard like the first Inspo pic like you said an oversized pillow or hotel headboard wall vibes would be so nice especially for a cozy cottage feel
My fav is no2 something about the lighter warm lifts everything… no 3 would be fab as accent pillows or possibly a chair cover? Can’t wait to see what you choose!
Flip your duvet cover inside out and then lay it on your bed with the bottom part on the head portion of the bed, the. Lay your duvet on top and tie the corners. After that reach your hand in and pull “inside out”
Option 3, great texture, which is needed in the room, & the color is the best choice.
Definitely number 3 for the headboard. Love the texture
Most everyone is saying #3 which I do like, but #2 is my personal favorite. Either one will look terrific because you are amazing at what you do!
Option 3 screams forest vibes!!! ♥️
Yes number 3 pls! It not only is a great color but has texture and sheen which brings in even more light and interest🌟
Oh and if you have the extra texture, you might not even have to replicate the ribbing on the headboard 👍🏼
I like the cool toned headboard best. It’s a very calming color combo.
I love #3, but you do have dogs and it could be shredded pretty quickly, though on a headboard only, idk maybe it would be ok.. #2 goes great with the pillow whereas #1 is too grey for it. For a headboard you'll be leaning against, probably the textured is the right call because the white could pick up stains from hair products and oils. Not digging the winged bangs as it broadens the widest part of your face so they need to be shorter or longer and not wing out. Super exciting to have a cabin room to decorate! Can't wait to see what you do with it, you're so creative. It'll be stunning no doubt.
option 1 or 3! 3 is my fav but because you wanted to go lighter I think 1 will be good too. but 3 is more foresty
Option 3 is IT. Maybe some pillow covers out of the others. One of the pinterest photos had crane patterned wall covering. An accent that would be amazing in a waterfront bedroom.
Option 2!!!!! I think 3 is pretty, but not for the timeless easy cottage vibe I was getting from your Pinterest board. I think option 2 is the mood!
Option 3 is my favorite! It has a lot of dimension
LOOOOVE the checkered one! Gives a nice contrast with texture NUMBER 3 MY LORD!
Option 3 gets my vote! Love the texture it brings and how it complements the green walls and linen bedspread.
I like the middle fabric for the room the best.
Great video!! I like 3d option for the headboard!! Can't wait to see what you eventually chose and how you styled the rest of the room!! 😊
Option 3 looked perfect in the space
I do like option 3, but if you want to brighten the room up with the bed I think option 2 would be best. It's bright and warm which I think is a nice contrast with the cooler dark walls.
Option 3! As soon as you held it up I was like YES!
Option three and decorative pillows on the other ones + greenish brown 🥰🥰
I would say option 3 definitely caught my eye when you were holding up to the wall. It’s a nice warm tone and adds texture, although I do love your headboard pillow idea- the inspo looks so good!
Becky it was so great to have a vlog with you. I missed you❤️ I can't wait to see what you do with the remodel.
My vote is for Option 2. If you’re going to keep the channeled feature on the headboard, it would be cool to do a Contrasting Stitch Color (navy, gray, orange…)on those visible channel lines. #3 reads more “hotel/corporate”.
Option 3 for sure. That fabric has more body than the other 2. Less wrinkling in the long game. Love you content Becky. 😘
Option 3 definitely. Love the texture and colour
I love the last fabric option (the surprise option) I think it's very organic looking and also brings in that forest-y vibe!
Option 3 is great! Love the texture as well.
i love number 3 in that room. Especially with the lighter linen sheet!
Option 3! Colour goes so well with the paint colour and the Brooklinen and it’s a lovely warm tone which highlights the texture and colour of the linen. It’s also got a bit of an almost gold tone which adds a luxe feel to the room, which is personally something I like!
Totally agree sizing up duvets especially when sharing a bed with a cover hogger. Tip for putting a cover on easier. Start with the cover inside out, dive into the cover to the top corners and grab corners of the end of the duvet and flip the cover the right side out over it. Does that make sense?
I love option 3, the color is beautiful and the texture is so great. ❤
Tension can be held in your throat which does have a tendency to raise the pitch. If you aren't comfortable speaking to the camera it's a common reaction to hold back a bit which leads to not fully supporting your breath so it gets thin and wispy. So not surprising that as you grow in experience and confidence your voice reflects that.
Becky! There was a duvet cover trick circulating a while back. a must see! LIFE CHANGING!!
We have that book! My baby (11mo) loves it! She's currently very into pointing, and she always points to the cat on the first page! I hope everything goes as well as possible for your sister in labor & delivery, and in those first very very hard weeks
I wasn't expecting a video today, so happy!
I love the 3rd fabric choice!
definitely option 3! it adds a new interesting texture to the mix
Definitely option 3! Adds visual interest and the colours work really well!
Option 3! The jute looking fabric is really nice, and I love that it's soft to the touch
I can’t decide between 2 & 3! #2 is BEAUTIFUL but #3 has texture and interest… go with #3
option 3 - also adds texture
option 3 !!!! so pretty!!
I just did my bedroom in the same green, also with little cozy nooks in the room. Also got warm beige linen sheets, and it’s SO COZY!! amazing to sleep in a dark room. I def vote #3 for playing with the textures but if you end up deciding to try more fabric I do think a gold velvet would look great
Option 3 for sure! The natural look of the fabric goes really well with the dark green and nature vibe of the room
I love option 2 and wasn’t sure about option 3 at first but when I saw it against the green, I thought it looked so good! And the softness of that pattern would be cool against the green.
Option 3 for the headboard! 2 is a close second though. Might be because of the camera lightening, but 1 is reading pretty grey and I know you said you wanted to stray from that. Can’t wait to see what you choose!
I like option 3. It’s really pretty with the paint color.
Option 3 looks the best! Its kind of cool and metalic at the same time. Works for the beddings and the wall color
Honestly, I really like option 3. At first I thought I wouldn't and thought it was butt-ugly lol but once you showed it in the actual room next to the wall with the pillow, it became my favorite option. It kinda gives me outside/nature vibes. Like.. almost like outdoor patio furniture linen texture if that makes any sense. Idk. I really like it though.
That best hair day before a hair change is totally a thing! I don’t know why cause it drives me nuts 😂
oh I'm really looking forward to the cottage makeover!
Option 3 definitely!! Love the fabric and texture. Austin liked the "burlap ".
I love option 3 for the fabric!
Option 3 for sure! Love your choices.
Option 3 is my favorite overall! I worry that it might be harder to get into the ridges of the headboard, but it may work! Option 1 is my runner up.
No Doubt option Three 💯% is the Best one...Love it's tones and textures >>> could do more with that Choice in Changing sheeting and duvets , especially as Seasons change ...would look Beautiful 🥰 in Every Season !!!
3 for sure!! Love it with the wall color!
