For me personally Id switch the mirror and the nightstand. I feel like I would want to look at myself one last time real quick before going out the door to make sure I looked okay. Also, when walking into the room the nightstand wouldnt be right in your face. Id also turn/rotate the bookshelf to cover the corner of the room so it would give more space between the pieces and not all be on one wall

I suggest turn the bookshelf so it’s on the side of the window, so that way it faces the room door and won’t be as cluttered

Maybe you should try getting rid of the big gold shelve thing and putting the mirror in the corner next to the tv. It would open up the room and make it minimal ;)) Btw I LIVE for your room makeover videos

I think you need a piece of art on the wall to balance the wall with the bookshelf and dresser. Something minimal but still distracting from the blank white space

I know you said you don’t want to spend money but I think if you had one large rectangular or square piece of artwork on the wall opposite the TV it might make the current room placements more appealing! Maybe make it, paint over a cheap one you find? Paint with Green and golds. 🤩 just a thought! Change is hard, let it set in a few days to get a true feeling!
This is a brilliant recommendation as the set-up is amazing having a picture opposite the TV would help balance up the new bedroom positioning. Like you said go to give chance to get used to new layout! 🧡💫

Ok Ashley, I have an idea. Put the bed facing the window in the far corner (from where it is scoot it to the right) It will be comfy & cozy! Put the nightstand next to the bed and the mirror next to it and have pretty sunlight behind u for mirror pics. Maybe add wall art or a floating plant in the area to even height differences. Put the gold shelf in front of the bed along the wall adjacent to the floating shelves along with the plant under the floating shelves sort of close to the window so it gets good light! Put the chair in the corner to the right of the window with the lamp next to or behind it for lighting and keep the dresser where it is! Love you and your videos!
I love change and refreshing a space, but your room before was an entire vibe and aesthetic.
100% Love everything about it but definitely think that the bookshelf next to the dresser is too much so I would put the bookshelf where the chair is right now and put the floating shelves and the chair on the other side so when you walk in and see your window the shelves on both sides of the window!! Love your videos! Editing! You! Makes everyone feel like they are there!

I think return the lamp next to the bed and put the mirror in a more practical place. It doesn’t look comfortable to use it where it is now next to the bed.

I like changing up my living spaces too. I think it’s a nice refresh. Personally I wouldn’t move the bed. For me, I like the bed directly across from the tv. I just think it flows better. Or if you’re it back on your original wall but slid it down move having the small nightstand where the shelf was.
I’d put the mirror where the plant was, next to the chair so you can the natural light when you look at outfits or do selfies. Then, I’d move the bed over a touch and maybe put the bookshelf on the opposite side of the bed that end tables on. Then put the plant next to the dresser.
You should push the bed to the wall and put light in the corner next to it and then on the other side u should put miror and night stand, and maybe you could use a rug, to balance everything out :)

I personally would find a smaller shelf, maybe two minimalist shelves on each side of your dresser, but I agree with Terryn! 😍
You could rotate the bookshelf to the wall that corners with it (might feel less cluttered)

I love the chair nook! I’m thinking other than artwork needed on the walls, what if the lamp went either behind the nook chair or away completely. And the bookshelf went on the other side of the bed where the mirror is and put the mirror in the corner of the room where the bookshelf is. Just a thought idk how it would all look lol

I have a idea of a way you could do it that I think would look very nice 😁 I would love the bed at the window and keep the chair where it is then I would move the nightstands next to it on the right the dresser and the TV would stay where it is and at the bottom of the bed on the wall where is currently in this video I will put the tall shelves. I would put the mirror on the left of the shelves so I guess they would be more to the right hope this helps!

There is a lot of light in your room - which is great! And so much light from your very beautiful smile!
At my old house after being there for only a year I rearranged my room 3 times and was still never fully happy with it so I see where you are coming from. Personally I would add maybe like a macrame piece or easy simplistic artwork on the wall above your bed to draw your eye up and see the whole picture.
Know getting used to the change feeling uncluttered yet having enough storage at the same time the room feeling open plan and spacious! Difficult balance great to try alternate the room every so often that change in setting 🧡💫
u should place ur bookshelf where ur blue chair originally used to be since according to me it will look great as u walk in ur room and ur tv wall will look less cluttered, also u should put up some fun pictures or frames behind ur bed and where the blue chair is now placed :)))
Large wall art needed on big wall , take shelf unit and put on wall left of dresser, put mirror catty corner where big lamp was moved ( too big for room), do the ceiling fixture alisha mentioned - this will make room feel “balanced”
Good you re-arranged your room. It is important to keep changing the position of everything because energies sometimes stop flowing and gets stagnant, rearranging or getting rid of something helps good energies to flow better keep you mentally and spiritually healthy. Also I love your videos too
One long shelf high above your bed could work! It’s still minimal but it also fills in the space
I would put the chair back where it was with the plant and the table. Move the floating shelves to the other side above the chair. Put the bookshelf on the other side (where you moved the blue chair) parallel to the window wall. Switch the nightstand and mirror around! :)
your room looks great Ashley! maybe for the wall with the dresser and the bookshelf, maybe change the direction of the bookshelf, like place is against the wall w/ the window. also try and fit the lamp with chair that would look so cool and cozy !!! love yaa

Move the bed more to the left and put the book shelf to the right of the bed
Turn the shelves 90 degrees, put the lamp back in the corner and put the blanket basket over there to "add more stuff" and then hang some of your frames on the wall above your bed using command strips!
Sacramento, CA! Ok so I would put the chair where it was and put the shelf where the chair is now. Then your little floating shelves you can put on the top bare wall. The mirror and nightstand you could switch and then you still have space for selfies. Any way you style it will look great bc you’ve got such cute pieces! 💛💛💛
I feel like if you did something with the blank wall on the mirror side of the bed you'd like it more. As a fellow neat freak (lol), it's definitely the fact that the nightstand side is super busy with the dresser + bookshelf vs the completely empty wall opposite to it. Even though the chair and lamp were there previously, it was more like an open nook vs the heaviness of the bookshelf rn. Hope this helps! xo.

Heeey, from Denver! Put the shelf where the mirror is, scooch the bed and nightstand closer to the end of the wall. Place the mirror on the right side of the window, and that way the dresser and tv are alone on that wall. Put the lamp behind the chair so it hangs over it.

i think the bookshelf and the mirror should change places because that would add some spicy to your bed wall and deluder the tv wall

My personal opinion move the mirror where the nightstand is and put the nightstand on the other side then bring the bookshelf over where the chair is and then put the chair back where it was with the lamp then I think it would look cute but if you don’t like my idea that’s fine too I think it looks good though!

I would switch the book shelve and the chair that would make it less cluttered and the wall would not be so empty
Switch the mirror and night stand so that you get more lighting coming to the mirror and more likely to use it vs having to walk into the area between the bed and wall for the mirror.
Maybe add some greenery to the bed side of the room or or add something to the wall above the bed since there isn't any color on that side of the room.
Also, maybe turn the bookshelf so that it is on the wall with the window not the wall with the dresser.
Lastly, I would move one of the gold shelfs to be on the wall to the left of the blue chair, still staggered just to fill that corner
I think if you got a large piece of art, or could possibly hang the mirror horizontally on the wall by your bed, and possibly declutter the stuff on the bookshelf it could balance the room a bit more. I know we all love a good full length mirror for OOTD pics, but you guys do have one in the hallway upstairs and in the living room, soooo...
I would put the bookshelf on the small wall facing towards your door instead of right next to the dresser. And get a very cool art piece or something for over your bed.
First of all your hair looks so cute with the waves!! And I would turn the bookshelf so it’s against the wall with the window, and move the table by the chair to the other side of the bed and put the lamp by the chair. And put the mirror behind the nightstand by the bed so kind of a half mirror.

I would suggest to move the bed how you had it but place it towards the wall that way you only need one night stand. And that way you still face the tv the right way. You can maybe place the mirror the closest to the closet door or possibly mount it on the wall. Your nook area is perfect and the gold book shelf next to the dresser is perfect in my opinion.
You could use the side table next to the blue chair as your second night stand if you don't want to be really matcy-matchy. 🥰 The books shelf, I think it is more "glam" looking for your room, have you thought about getting a different bookshelf? Love your videos! ❤
Honestly I would put the bed back so you can watch the Tv easily, put the chair back but with the same conception now and white bedding with more gold and blueish decorations. The blue to match the chair, if it's blue. Also two night stands and get rid of the bookshelf.

You should put the shelf diagonal in the corner! Or beside the window. I know it seems like it makes sense when standing and looking toward the tv but the bed is really the focal point of the room so the shelf would look nice on that wall

I think you should try moving the gold bookshelf onto the wall of the window I think that would help a lot make it not look so cluttered on that side. Maybe just try it out and see if you like it 💞 also I think you should get some kind of painting or picture above your bed. Otherwise the room looks great I love switching up my room giving it a fresh start. ✨

Put the mirror next to the draws and put the plant were the mirror is know, move the shelfs so tbe they are against the back wall were your window is and decluter it then it would look amazing☺️ :)
I like the new look of the room much better....I would leave the big lamp next to your bed and simply get rid of the book shelf altogether (just a huge dust collecting piece 😂)
