Thank you so much! You made it so easy for me. Just finished making the timeline for my Y2. Will make another one for my Y1 another day. I did use card stock and will probably add another one next time to stretch the years from 2000 to 2100 since there are so many birthdays.
Awesome! We’re on our 2nd year adding to ours and I love it so much. Not sure I’m going to want the kids to stop this to use a book of centuries because I love how it’s developing! We are going to be making a 3rd one for my now 2nd grader. He’s been asking to have his own and I dropped the ball making his!
Thank you so much for sharing exactly how you did it! I have bee wanting to start one but unsure of pages per century and such to use and even wherento start. I didnt not want to have to go back and restart it too do thank you for being so clear.
Awesome, glad it helped! When I was searching I found it hard to find examples of actual dates on paper timelines too. Especially since I didn’t want 30+ pages in our timeline!
Yes I wish we would have started with cardstock! I had extra thick printer paper but it isn’t holding up as great as cardstock would. Cool you made your own!
We will only make one timeline per child, and add to year by year! A lot of Charlotte Mason families will switch to a book of centuries around year 4, but I’m holding off on that till around middle school. We will just add to this timeline for a few years first. It will make a very sweet keepsake and help them make connections along the way.

Thanks so much for these videos! I’m looking to start Y1 next year so I appreciate it!
Love this idea!
We made a history timeline very similar to yours and it holds up better with cardstock paper.

Love your videos! Do you plan to cut your hair in the near future? The reason I ask is I buy hair to make extensions for ladies with hair loss.
Thank you! I don’t have plans to cut my hair, but thanks for offering.
@@LizBlueandHazel Thank you for the kind reply 🌻
