Should I boil the meat first or can I just air fry without boiling?
You can but you don't have to, I didn't
Could've rendered more fat from the belly...not bad though
Wow thank you. You make it simple to follow
Glad it was helpful!
Is it regular vinegar or rice wine vinegar
I just used regular white vinegar
What does the vinegar do to the belly?
Helps crisp up the skin

@@luffyateyomom6273what do you know? Traditional method requires to sit the cut upside down with the skin soaking in vinegar (after blenching the meat) for 12h. It helps dry out the skin before going to poke it and covering completely with salt for the first round.
Air fryers work differently than ovens or grills. The air heats up the food faster.
Brushing with vinegar after gives buffer time due to the water content for the skin to simultaneously dry and bubble up without getting it burned or just plain exsiccated instead of crisping up.
