I saw them harvesting about a month ago, they were in a field on the south side of transcanada near the esso gas station in Indian Head. Man they got quite a fleet. First I saw 1 combine, then 2, then 3, then 6 and them I’m like hold on. Doesn’t Delage farms use a fleet of new Holland combines. Then as I was pulling out of the gas station a combine comes down the road and there was a sticker for Delage farms on it.

I notice not many farms out west have grain legs out there. Is there a specific reason for having several grain bins that aren’t attached? Or just because legs are too expensive or not enough power availability.
Yea most farms out west have multiple bins but they are all filled with a moveable augar. Instead of a grain leg that brings it up to the top then disperses it to a network of bins. I’m from Ontario where grain legs are very popular and I just notice you don’t have them out west. So was wondering if there was a reason for that. Or it’s just the way of doing things there. if you compare a 600 steiger vs 600 quadtrac the quadtrac is more expensive, too. With the T9 smarttrax you can take the tracks off put tires on and sell the tractor and your next tractor you can put the tracks on it, the quad track you can't.
