I worked for my Dad who owned a auto repair/ filling station...the words "filling station" are not used any more except for old timers like me haha ...I used to clean plugs all the time with those type cleaners. Back then it was a normal procedure. I worked for my Dad from 1959 to 1965 when I left for the service. I cut my teeth on building up Flathead V8s and then Y-Blocks. Dad was known as the best mechanic around and taught me so much.
You know it's going to be good when Matt does the intro covered in barn dust! The show sign is an awesome find and some nice cars there, well except the Reatta's!!
I'm restoring a '35 Studebaker, I can'y help myself here, a couple of mistakes on his '34. Most of the bright work up front is now blue. Still a neat car.

Lol, it’s funny how people get offended by someone that’s a “traditional hot rod” lover, when they don’t like some 80’s GM cars..The collector definitely had a varied taste in cars.
The Torino wagon, had one from new, same color,my girls loved to ride in the way back,no belts/air bags,we survived! Had a 351 Cleveland. My wife drove it,till it was traded.
Cool stuff! The first Mustang you showed is the same color as a 70 Ford wagon my dad bought new. I don't know the name of the color but it was a dark green that was almost black. The only new car he ever bought. We took a lot of road trip vacations pulling a pop-up camper. I like the 70 T-Bird too.
I love that 63 T Bird, back in 74 I had a 61 just like that, until a high school kid running from the police at over a 100 miles per hr read ended it and put the rear bumper under the back glass,to say the least it was totaled and it was a cream puff with the 390 FE engine.
Morning Matt, Mike...WOW!! it amazes me someone would have the drive to collect all those cars & parts, thing is, it borderlines on hoarding, but, what a hoarding problem to have. Most of us don't have the space to store a collection like that....I'm sure y'all will come from there with some of it...I like those Reattas, I don't like them enough to have a half dozen.. .
This gentleman's collection and property is a prime example of previous generations handing down what was handed down to him.....he probably never had to pay rent or a mortgage, so he was able to enjoy his money.....I am not saying he didn't work hard, but when you get homes handed down to you, and you don't have to pay rent, then you can really enjoy your money.
I'm currently in Dillsburg Pennsylvania taking care of some family matters. And what I see on the back roads all the way through to Parkville Maryland is these OLD barns that look over 100 years old and seem abandoned. And wonder whats inside. Some cars are literally in the field with grass growing around them. And just today coming back...I saw a white 63 Chrysler 300 on the side of this barn structure and wondered...does it have the big boy 413!! And coming up to a stop sign a little further up the road saw another old dilapidated structure again..looked abandoned no door on it..I saw something inside with a car cover. I backed up because I so badly wanted a peek. But it is "someone's property" and saw a No Trespassing sign on the structure, but didn't know how old the sign was..lol The structure wasn't even around any other house or anything. So I just keep moving along. There is SO much up here waiting to be discovered. I drives me nuts..lol If I had the means...I'd get a semi car carrier and drive all over here buying up cars...if their willing to sell at a non Barrett-Jackson prices though 😆
13:40 the white over blue Merc with sloping back window had a UK counterpart in the Ford Classic and just yesterday I saw one in white over blue. It looked quite cute. Had a 1340cc engine. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Consul_Classic
It looks like Ralph was a Mustang enthusiest as well as liking older cars. I can identify with that as I owned a new Poppy red 65 fastback. For 10 years I owned a Mustang restoration and parts business so you might say that I know something about them. With what a 65-66 Mustang is selling for now days it is sad to see so many of them just sitting out in a field and rusting away. 🤠🏁
People like that live their life with cars like that never do anything with them it’s sad you can’t take nothing with you when you die so it’s best get your life together before you die 🙏👍thanks 1932 5 widow is the best one
41.pontiac is the car my Mom was born in and her sister. He put it together from a wreck after returning home after the Battle of the Bulge and the Ruhr pocket after being injured and the rest is history or I would not be today.
They look cool they're not super appreciated so they're still cheap and if that's what you enjoy go enjoy it not everyone needs to like 32 Fords and 1970 Camaros
I saw on you tube a car hoard in America the cars were covered in leaves classic beautiful cars .they charge entry ,and for you taking photos omg they WONT SELL ANY .this boils my blood I'm in new Zealand ,there is nothing here like in America .youre so damn lucky to still have cars there like these so jealous lol,I'm 52 and owned some classics and as we did back then ,didn't appreciate them as I regret so much now!!!wrecked cars for 20 years, when ap cars were coming in ,damn government scrapped too many old cars ,
72 Torino wagon or all station wagons are getting very popular. I would like to see final bid’s but auction company only did in person cash and PA checks. They lost a bigger market and money. I couldn’t grab a trailer and go unless I know I won the bid.
Reatta! Ya know you want one! I don't like making fun of cars too much 'cause I come across fans of cars I dislike and some take it pretty personal. It's in the "why that car?" file in my brain. Somebody's gotta save 'em right? My fave of the group was the Torino wagon and I imagine some feel the same about that car as I do about the Reatta.
I want to know where this guy bought all those prefab gambrel roof sheds with doors wide enough to get a car into, all the ones I've seen top out at like 5ft at the most
You can tell he was a very hard worker....not a horder but a lover of cars. He did his best to enjoy what he truly loved.
The spark plug cleaner brought back memories of taking my plugs to a local filling station to clean them.

Nice collection vehicles. & toys
Flatheads, Fords and Mustangs oh my. Something for everyone!
That guy spent a heck of a lot of money on sheds!!
He probably paid more for some of the sheds than the car(s) in them.
Maybe, but look at how it has preserved most of the vehicles in them. Notice how a lot of them had a floor.
Unbelievable collection of cars and merchandise..thank for sharing that matt.
The cars kept indoors are way nicer than the ones wasting away in the elements. I hope you guys score a lot of great stuff.

why the pissing on Riatta's?
@@carsnanidiot It's a joooke.
Wow. Even had a 1972 Ford Grand Torino stationwagon. And neither the tail gate nor the rear fenders were rusted out!
I really really dig the guitar music.. wow
Sheds full of potential there. And that T Bird was crazy clean! So cool.
Speechless.
That blue Studebaker is gorgeous. Hopefully, the new owner will take it out in public to be admired.

Fun to hear W. PA. again, checking out the "cores." Old Slippery Rock and Pitt grad. Love the six cyl. Mustang.
Saw your old 39 Tudor on Roadkill last night. One of the least troublesome road trips they have ever done. Good Job!

Love that 5 window
There some sweet cars there. Could be anything in there!

Super fun thanks for bringing us along! Hmmm...'32 frame and model A roadster body...if they don't show up in the auction we know where they went ;-)
The interior of that Thunderbird was amazing!
That guy had quite the variety of cars in good shape.
Your youtube channel is the best... cheers from São Paulo Brazil.
Cool collection. Thanks for showing. [Love those post-war coupes.]

22:00 Standard bore flathead blocks are becoming as rare as rocking horse shit, I would rip that out of the ground in a heartbeat to check it out!
Don't think you're gonna get that one out in a heartbeat. A little longer, if you don't have a heart ATTACK.
That’s asome all of those car are still good I’d love to just look around
That man was living a dream.
Wow.
Quite a collection.
Coming in 6 weeks.
Steve gets a flat head that was buried to the covers running. Internals have minimal rust! 🤣
Awesome place God bless and I hope that the property stays in the family oh no auction!
Looking forward to seeing if they have a old Pontiac from the 40's era that that they are going to get rid of you could say.
That Cav rag top... simply amazing. But all joking aside, very cool collection of cars.
There's GOLD in them there sheds!
Some nice cars Matt. I bet you will be back and bid on some. Maybe not the newer cars. Quite a collection. 💯❤️
That glass 32 is just what I need.

Some interesting stuff here. That 63 Breezeway Merc is cool as far as the new stuff goes..

Think of all the money spent on those sheds,to keep all the cars under cover, still many left to go back to Nature!
I would give my right arm, left leg, oldest son and my wife for that red 5 window! ( Might not be able to drive it after that)

The Reynolds Wrap on the shelf at right around 24:16 is from the mid-60's-mid-70's...
