  • The Hit-Air vest is designed as a shock buffering, stabilising system, giving added protection to the neck, spine, collar bones, lower back, rib cage and vital organs.
The neck protection is designed to decelerate the neck in the event of a fall, significantly reducing the possibility of hyper-extension and whiplash.

I am a woman in my 50's and I trail ride up in the mountains of Southern California. I've been wearing my hit air advantage vest for two years at all times when I am on a horse. Last Friday, I had the opportunity to test it in real life! Lol. I took a hard fall landed on my back, and three days later I am stiff and sore but fairly comfortable with the help of a little ibuprofen. Had I not had this vest on, it would have been weeks, possibly even months to fully recover plus a hospital visit to get x rays and treatment. Of course I always wear a helmet too. The woman in this video I notice also wears a vest underneath which i think is a wonderful idea! We ride amongst rocks and cactus and one can never be too careful. So, in conclusion, while this vaest is a little pricier than others on the market, I consider it to be a wonderful investment for those of us older riders who plan to keep enjoying our horses in good health!

It seems insane to wear 2 vests. Why not just make one product that works. They are expensive enough as it is.

Thanks for the excellent demo of this Hit-Air vest. For those who may be interested the vest being worn by the woman in the video (underneath the Hit-Air vest) appears to be an Airowear Outlyne vest.
