I never liked how the Bangles' version skipped half of the bridge (they left out "at any convenient time ... vodka and lime") so I'm glad F&F went back to the original lyrics.
Foxes and Fossils are as good as music gets!!! They bring new life to our favorite songs! Nova Scotia would love to see them live someday soon! This group is way beyond good ! They are GREAT Plus!!!!!
They're a studio based hobby group. The reason they put so much effort into the Reunion Concert video is because they almost never play live anymore and wanted their fans to have the next best thing to being there. 98% of their followers weren't willing pay 20 to watch it. Hope they do another concert someday, most likely will be in the southeast, they've never played outside the Atlanta area.

I downloaded the entire reunion concert as soon as it was available. This was the opening performance. The three Foxes absolutely nail the vocals (Not to slight Tim - hey he's "OK"). So tight. Try enunciating those words as fast and as well as those ladies do. It's not easy. Add a killer instrumental back-up, and shoot, it's simply terrific.
First class performance from all concerned - every bit as good as the studio version, and proof that good music does not need auto tuning snd hype - just talent, ability, and musicianship - thank God for UA-cam to bring this music to a wider audience. Sammi, Maggie and Chase just got up from their seats and slayed it.
The girls are better than many professionals. Their timing is what really got me. Every syllable at exactly the same time. Our man plays a mean lead guitar, too. All in all, a 100% A+ performance.
