You can lower the volume on your oven. There is a little button in the lower right side on the front. Push and hold, until you see a speaker in your display. Push and hold, and it again, and it will will mute. Push and hold again, and it will be at a lower volume.

In Indonesia there is also a cake called pukis. It's called the same as the cake you made, pookies. It tastes sweet. Banana, chocolate, cheese, and nuts are usually the toppings.

I brought bananas home from the store and left them in the plastic bag. I wrapped it around them and left them on the counter. After several days, with no change in color, I decided to take them out of the bag. To my surprise, the stem fell off the bananas when I started to take them out of the bag. They were almost over-ripe even though they had not changed color. They made fabulous banana muffins!

Emmy, it was definitely the ratio of the flour to the banana and the viscosity, also, is it dry where you are? Environment has a lot to do with it. You could have added a bit of milk or water and it would have been more of a pancake batter type mixture. Personally, the ones you made look divine! I love that yours are thick! Goes well with a nice, cold, glass of milk. 🧡 Thank you so much for the content! Hope the tip helps!

I think a naturally ripe banana would have made it sweeter and the batter a little more runny. I looked up the yolk ripening method and it doesn't break the down the starches quite as much as natural ripening does, so the extra starch with the flour would make a thicker batter. Looks good though. Kind of like making muffin tops!

I freeze my bananas to have for things like this. Buy a big bunch, let them ripen. Then peel and cut in two pieces (for ease in getting in quart freezer bag. I get about 4 bananas in a bag. When I want to use them I take one (two pieces) out to defrost. You could zap them if in a hurry. Doesn't hurt if you are going to puree them anyway. This took all the stress of planning for needing bananas.

yeah i like them with a tiny bit of green at the tip of the peel so they arent TOO mushy and sweet. they dont really have a sourness to them at that point but they have a good texture and are still sweet
but like someone said, bananas for eating and bananas for baking are VERY different, in terms of when you use them. you need them to be extremely mushy and sweet to have any strong banana flavor transfer over to a baked good. thats why banana baked goods are PERFECT to make when you forget about bananas you had sitting around. theyre too sweet and soft to eat plain, but they wont get wasted if you bake with them

Lol how glad I am that you said something, although I feel like I must add to it in my personal case:
_Caillou_ was, in my house, the show that turned my angel (ok, demon... Who am I kid-ding) into literal Lucifer himself. We were told about the terrible trips, but we're never informed about the 3s and 4s. I love my kid, and personality-wise, when it comes to interacting with him, he's literally perfect. That said, trying to get him to do LITERALLY ANYTHING is a nightmare and always has been. He will quite often pick up a positive behavior on his own, and far before what is suspected for his age range, BUT in the few instances he doesn't, there are no words. No, there are actually, it more an example but: he hasn't cleaned his room in 7 years? Somewhere around there. When I was well enough to do so with him, he would do so happily, but I have arthritis and giving birth kicked me out of any semblance of remission I had previously purported to be in.
The older my kid got, the less I could do for/with him. With most kids, great, their getting old enough to do it themselves anyway. My kid? If he didn't decide to start doing it on his own, well, he might never say this point. We've incentivized him, bribed him, asked him (duh), have him punishment by way of not having things. He would just make our lives a living hell until he got out of it. Because I'm just not well enough to deal with that level of being on top of someone about anything, my hubby is busy taking care of literally everything else, and my child having the will of mithril, adamantium and Vibranium fused at an atomic level it just usually😊 isn't worth it. It's his room, if he wants anyone over, he can clean it.
Ask that to explain why I HATE CAILLOU... and likely even _more_ than most parents.
In the midst of our kid having the worst set of unwillingness to do anything, a period of time that also aligned with his terrible 2-4s (we're talking unwilling to potty train... For what I feel like was multiple years. When you have a kid that stubborn, the last thing you want, is to throw poop into the mix... sometimes near literally. He refused baths, naps, bed, and many others I can't currently think of through current toothache agony. To be a tad more through, he hated and/or was terrified of the following: dark, dad snoring, mom snoring, bugs, grass (terrified both of walking on it and it's very existence in general. I'm talking would climb dad like a tree every time we tried to put him in grass) sidewalks that has grass or weeds growing out of them, weeds, flowers, basically most nature although he loved pigeons, most vegetables, most fruit, gravity, anything that is edible that isn't orange, actual oranges, physics in general...
You get the picture. Her lived us, was polite as can be, rarely cried unless asked to do something he could not handle, perfect, well demon.
But that unnaturally round-headed, behavioral issues floating around in a toddler sized humanoid body made him the literal King of the demons he had previously embodied.
Caillou is so incredibly poorly behaved, and because his parents do even less than I was able, it taught my kid that he can get anything he wants too if he acts that way. Hahahahahahahahahahahahayano. But he didn't know until he tried right? Right -_-
So he tried. Not only did we shut him down SO FAST, we full on recognized where the attitude came from and took that crap off the tv so fast! Nope nope nope nope nope. We told him Caillou did so many bad and dangerous things and that we didn't want him to think it was ok for him to do any of them. He _understood_. He talked about how bad the show is since. He also grew up with an abnormal dislike toward teenagers... Oops >.>

He also was so good with the things he unilaterally decided he was ready for, like he just stopped drinking from a bottle one day, I handed him a cup and away he went. Lately we told him how often trends should shower and as soon as we said it wouldn't be damaging to his skin to do so every day, he just started to. Now he just, does is. No pushing, no reminders, in fact we need to ask him to tell us when he's having one so we know the washroom will be in use for 15 mins.
